No one?
Again, factless ranting.
My daily work shows the opposite, in the main.
People tend not to sit well with the framework we have to work within; but I rarely find myself not trusted.
You're upset because you feel your voice hasn't been heard about something close to your heart. It doesn't make every police officer bad or rubbish because an instant act hasn't been carried out on the word of an emotional person.
I'm sorry you feel the way you do; but a bit of rationality on your part is needed.

FP your credibility is sliding like a land fall. Get out of your biggeted hole your in and wake up. Maybe then you'll have some credibility left, unlike the dumbwits, who have posted on this thread, who are part of your consortium.

The problem is the police are like a company to make money, you will have a number of them who will deny this but deep down they know this is true. But it comes from above and the little man will never question this.Lets hope this changes and the true criminals will be brought to justice not just the helpless motorist.

I've had the horrible experience (x3) of pulling dead kids from under cars and a lorry and trying to see if they are alive so I could keep them going until an ambulance and someone more medically experienced than I could take over.
You're obviosuly upset, and for good reason; this isn't the place to rant at people the way you are.

Perhaps you should race up and down your road like a maniac and see if the plod come round then and just totally deny it like the other ****** does!

I dont think FP is commenting or addressing anything involving a child being knocked down.

I don't mind a bit of argument on SN, but you're making yourself look a little silly, so won't get into one with you here.

No one understands RTC's like the police.
And no one understands dissatisfaction with the police like the public.
If 3 separate threads are started to address all the issues that have been bought up in this thread than I think we can have some really good debates.
Police funding
Police response
Living with the results of an RTC
All good points and all worth talking about. But when emotions are high we have to step back and clear are heads a bit.
V7, Its obvious you feel mistreated and you need some good advice.
FP, I am sure you will remember this "my attitude affects your attitude, which affects my behaviour, which affects your behaviour"
Anyways enough from me on this tonight, I will try and help in the morning if I can.

Op forget about it before you land yourself in trouble.
You are correct that the law is crap in this country. Paliament is to blame for the sorry state of the system not the cops themselves.

You were, and still are ranting.
My attitude hasn't altered. The facts can only be taken from your rants at this time.

An emotional rant, so then, child gets knocked down, dont get emotional, even though he is in hospital for 2 weeks. NO no no its fine, ill line the rest of my kids up then and no one get bothered, because the police will sort it out. Sorry its an emotional issue, we wont do anything but take the **** on SCNET. Because were really great at our job. Its fookin monty python you idiots, the only clowns who are'nt bothered are you lot. But what makes me laugh is that as soon as something happens to a copper, you want the whole nation out in support
I'm no advocate of the police, I have had both good and bad experiences with them.

Thanks for the totally unhelpful advice from plod, as if i did'nt expect it. I'm off to bed and i'll sort the little **** out myself, in my defence i can say FP was totally useless/unhelpfull/degrading/typical of what to expect of the police here in the uk. And what a real pity, a chance to really offer some good advice, but instead, took the stance to aggrivate the situation, and be totally unhelpfull, to a tax payer, paying his wages, and trying to help pull whats left of this country into line. Cheers FP

Instead of staying in a negative state of mind, and going on a police bashing... step back, say 'right, I've calmed down, yet still upset by the situation' and just ask for some advice on the best way forward.
I can understand your frustration, but if you genuinely want some advice, then it may be better to approach those who may be able to give it, a little more calmly.
