Mark,

I've now added "worn waffer thin and melted over the front wheels" to the failure state list

Still, at least they're not warped this time.

It's up for sale too as I've got my US visa through... any offers?

Should be 300bhp by 3pm.....

It's off to Austria Saturday week, so should be run in somewhere in the middle of France on the way back

Link?...waiting to see what the PPP brings, but Bob and Branko are interested in *borrowing* my STi....

Also getting up to watch the GP live - have you seen what time it starts - 02:30

Excellent Mark, see you both (and hopefully others too!) on Sunday.

Dave How will you feel the benefit if the only distance you've driven it catted is from the dealer to Scoobysport?

Glad to see you're watching it live too! That'll be three (four if Carolyn's watching it too) of us, as Sal's doing the same. So there will be at least three of us yawning at the pub on Sunday lunchtime .

Whoops I'm in trouble with the mother-in-law for coming to this meet Sunday Actually she doesn't know I'm coming to this meet but thinks I'm working (Cheers Chris for that fine excuse )<----- top bloke eh? lying to his mother like that, shocking isn't it? anyway she's still got the hump with me for not going to the family dinner at Chris' sisters Sunday, apparently they don't see enough of me - I would've thought that was a good thing

Anyway BIG thanks to Chris my better half for telling that porkie and being such a top chap

I'll see you lot Sunday, I'll be the one with the luggage under my eyes

Question

Sal,

Aren't you now due a name change to 'MX5Chick'??

Keeping fingers crossed for a pass out on Sunday as I'd very much like to see the latest T-S money pit in it's full glory.

Hmm could be tempted as its a 5 min drive, however I am working until 8am so will be knackered. But the chance to see a new STi7 is inspiration enough. Youve just gotta promise not to take the **** outta my Primera with '98 BTCC Livery (or whats left of it as Im taking it all off to sell it in order to get a new scoob).

Only one STi at the moment Dave? Though I gather than Carolyn's spending too much time inebriated to actually drive the thing at the moment!! The phrase 'Woke up this morning to no car and no hubby' springs to mind from another thread!

P1Fanatic - welcome... we'll be nice about your Primera if it lots of BTCC stuff on it .

See you all tomorrow!

Cheers

Broken HobNob

My STi should arrive on Friday - in the meantime having great fun running Carolyn's in for her

She should have recovered from Thursday night's pi55up enough to drive it tomorrow

Even washed and Wizard Waxed it for her today - only right I suppose as I took it out and got it dirty

A 50 mile round trip to Baldock this morning to buy an aerosol paint - honest, it's the nearest place that mixes them

Managing to get a few mods done in the first 24 hours to start to make it look different to every other STi

I might pop along if no objections. Just had some work done on my old WRX and she's running sweet. Is Rob coming (bloke who showed me how to reset ECU last meet)?

Anybody fancy a quick razz (by which I mean drive) after lunch has settled?

Si: Get yer **** down there. You know you want to! Its only sleep!!!!!

Nice turn-out, good to see everyone again! I can't post piccies of Sal's, Carolyn's and Grahame's cars at the moment as the uploader isn't working (full server I think! ).

Shame the MG chaps vanished off quickly... and H15 W?X - you came and went!! We were looking for you when you entered the pub...

Cheers

Apologies that I didnt come but I was absolutely knackered and wanted to get some sleep before the footy at 4pm.

Lets make it a regular thing as it seems we have quite a gathering in the Cambs/Essex area.

D'oh! H15 WRX woz me! I arrived pretty l8 due 2 having a lie in due to dodgy virus thing, and when I got there I realised I wouldnt recognise anyone apart from Si who didnt make it out of bed (after only 4 hours). So short of asking everybody in the pub what cars they drove (it was crowded) and still feeling a bit off colour I drundled off again.

Had a good look at some nice motas in the car park tho (As were a few other people)!

Hope everyone had a good time. I'll get there early for the next one so I'll see you when you get out of yr cars.

Cheers

When's the next one?? I was tempted to say when Jordan win their first points of the season but ......
