Thanks guys.
Best drop the comments re inapropriate posts now as thats all been taken care of. Thanks for all the kind words, much apreciated.
The lap of the R1 is with me and my car at the Nurburgring. Joerund and I did a lap together to see how a very fast bike (Yamaha R1) and a very fast car (my westie ) would compare against each other on what is the ultimate test, the 13.5 mile Nurburgring.
In the low and medium speed corners my westie was faster, in the high speed corners the bike was faster. The westie was particularly faster exiting out of 2nd and 3rd gear corners where i had the traction and higher cornering G than the bike.
I actually lost boost at 3/4 of the way round as the wire on the boost controller came off. so was down to about 200BHP for the last 1/4 of the lap. You can see that by the way Joerund doesnt have to try anymore.
Good, fun and informative lap. It was even shown on a TV chanell over in the USA. LOL
P.S That was my 40th lap of the track and Joerunds 256th. I am still a novice round the ring, the car is capable of much faster lap times i believe.
