Have just pmsl at this thread - pure ESC at it's best!! 
Tiny, if the chicks are grey & white, and you want pure white, can't you use vanish, or if they don't like that, tipex?

FPMSL - Update time !!
Well i must confess , that now Harry has to go down as "Harriet"!!
Yes SHE is the receiver rather than the giver 
Well after removing egg after egg from all the other pairs , Mrs ESC & The kids went MAD when i attempted to remove the mongrel to be eggs from Harriet's coot !!
So after a bit of arm bending it was decided that after all the very special attributes of Harriet & her amazing journey from Frinton back to ESC Hq to be with her mate , I Was to leave there eggs this time around
MONGRELS ARE ME !!
Here they are @ just 3 weeks old

Coz went to a freind's Saturday night, and at about half past nine they found a baby pidgeon (about 3 or 4 days old) on the driveway.
They took it to the vets (the mum where she was staying works there & had the keys!) and got a pipette. Fair play to the girls, as of last night it was still alive & eating & drinking!

Sad news guys for Harry or was it Harriet ...
Afraid to say that Mrs ESC found Harry being eaten alive on the lawn yesterday by a Kestrel / Sparrowhawk
