I bought my new car stereo today, it's voice activated. If I shout "country" it plays Dolly Parton, if I shout "rock" it plays Guns and Roses. I was driving through town the other day when some children ran out in front of me, I shouted "FUKCING KIDS!" and it played Michael Jackson.

The Stones havent made a good album since Sticky Fingers, but do they still put on a great show.
Doesn't matter, a great showman is a great showman. Even the five minute press conference was an event. My only concern is does he have the confidence to pull it off. Very few people can go through what he has and survive unscathed. Shame really because these ten shows have the potential to be legendary.

A very old friend of mine actually met wacko at the natural history museum a few years ago

My mate was taking some disabled kids to the museum, wacko was there with a massive entourage, anyway Nick went up to one of wacko’s hangers on and asked if wacko (although I think he said Michael) would come and say hello to his party of kids

Wacko heard about it and came over and spent 5 mins talking to the kids etc – Nick said he was really polite and gracious and surprisingly that he looked fantastic

So there you go

I have a sense of humour thankyou. I just find the knee jerk reaction to anything about MJ rather tiresome. All the naff jokes we have heard a million times before. They were never funny the first time. He was accused of something, tried, and found innocent. Is he guilty or not, i havent a clue. Its just

1. He was persecuted in a way no other human being has had to put up with.
2. He is a man of exceptional talent.

Of course his best days as a creater of music are behind him, but he has the *potential* to still be a fantastic artist and to put on a great show. He could create something fantastic given the chance. He still has so much to offer.

Fair enough but I do have much trouble thinking of him as being human even though he wanted to be an agent of the MIB

i'm not really a big live music fan, but I reckon this will be class and I'd quite like to go actually!

Seeing jacko perform tracks like 'Smooth Criminal' and 'Dirty Diana' live would be amazing, and this will be the last chance ever.

Beyonce is selling for similar price. Hence it seems to be the going price to watch mega stars, I think.

I guess not many of you saw the interview on GMTV yesterday - Wacko Jacko was described as a 'compulsive liar' was not well enough to do more than two or three gigs and even his family don't believe he will see it through......!

The say he will make enough money by 'pretending' so he won't even have to bother showing up!

I admit I liked his music in the 80s as a young teen, but far too much has happened since to even consider him an 'entertainer'.
As for him being aquitted of the charges, they do always say money talks...!

Lets watch this space!

Now here is a person i feel deserves my cash!

And do you still feel that and to use your sycophantic words "He was persecuted in a way no other human being has had to put up with."

BTW is it 'differentiate' if you want to try to play the high ground then at least learn to spell it, eh

Would you go to a Gary Glitter concert then if you liked his music, his 'colourful' past aside?

He is right up there with OJ Simpson, MJ bought his freedom and innocent verdict, twice!

I was a big fan of the off the wall album. Thriller, etc you can keep as hyped up marketing at its best. Good tunes, not brilliant. with the access to the writers and other talent and big names in the industry he could have done so much more - if he had shown some common sense, tried to act like an adult and taken some responsibility for his life and his actions.

Apparently at the press conference he hobbled onto stage like an 80 year old and could barely string together 5 words.

How exactly is he going to put on a 2 hour singing and dancing spectacular?
