Jade's wedding story will cater for certain type of audience/readers. There number may be quite high, but the ones not so interested (yet sensitive to the issue that someone is suffering from fatal health problem) need not read the news about her. Some make money with walkig on a tight rope, some make money by evading taxes, some make money by selling their bodies. Each of their own. The ones who are interested will contribute to it. Uninterested ones will get the serious message out of that story, but walk past those glossy gossip magazines, and pick up a copy of......................................

I don't know Nat, you are beginning to look like that chap who could not resist running PSL down the moment he appeared in a thread. You seem to have a dreadful grudge towards Jade Goody and attack her quite unreasonably at every turn.
Can't you really find a bit of kindness and tolerance in your bones for a girl who is going through a seriously awful time while waiting to die very soon. She really is doing what she can to provide for her two lads as best she can before she has gone. She does not care what image she produces as long as she can collect more cash together for their future lives. I personally cannot blame her for that. What kind of personal profit is she making out of it?
Let me assure you, she will be in dreadful pain, I had a blockage just like hers when I had cancer and believe me the intense pain is enough to persuade you to jump under the nearest train! Despite all that she is still striving to provide as best she can for those lads' futures. On top of that she knows her time is very limited now. I watched a close friend die of multiple cancers last June and it is not to be recommended.
Allow me to suggest that if even knowing all that, you can't manage a bit of human sympathy for that poor girl, that you at least keep it to yourself because it does not make very good reading.

To be fair, I think she'd be doing the exact same, regardless if she had children or not, shes has always been a media ***** and she always will.

All in all, she is demonstrating a mother's true love for her children regardless of the pain she is suffering, and I don't think she can be blamed for that.

Person One has Terminal Cancer, is a low life, thick as **** and should not be given publicity to the youth of today to aspire to growing up like.
Person Two has Terminal Cancer, has done lots of good in the world for charity, became a successful sportsman/woman. Dealing with something very dignified. Which I wouldnt mind being published in the magazines for the youth of today to have someone to look up to.
Whos the thick one? There is more to the storyline than her just having Cancer, otherwise the papers would be covering thousands of people every single day.

Les, I whole heartedly agree with you. It's terrible for anyone, never mind one so young to be going through this, but...

I think the coverage of Jade Goody has reduced considerably now and I saw Clifford saying that he was trying to get her to stay out of the news now, so he was not being all bad about it. I think in her deteriorating state now she wont be in the news quite so much.

So OK Magazine are now defending their decision this week to publish a "Souvenir" tribute edition to JG before she's even died. What will they publish next week and beyond if she hangs on? Whatever happened to dignity in death?
By the way, JG's also going to publish a book about her last few months suffering.

It may have escaped your attention, but there is murder, rape, torture, war, poverty, hunger etc. going on around the world, this would probably deserve your venom much more than someone who is painfully dieing in the public gaze?
I find the whole circus around Jade Goody tasteless and a farce ..... but, and this is the important thing, she is doing what she can to allow her boys the best possible future - despite her pain and suffering ..... and that can only be admired, surely?

If that article in OK magazine turns out to be effectively an obituary while she is still alive, then I personally would find that to be truly disgusting. I sincerely hope it does not turn out that way.
I find some of the comments on this thread to be very disappointing, some are even elitist in the inferences which are made.
She is too ill to defend herself, even going blind as the cancer takes control of her body. as was mentioned. Despite her personality and her participation in those reality programmes, she is now on her last legs and in continual pain. She is demonstrating her honest love for her boys and trying to do her best for their future before she dies. That is the only advantage she will personally gain and I think she deserves full praise for that.
Remarks about her boys as above are beyond the pale!
This is not in any way "PC" but purely a bit of consideration for a poor girl in the most awful situation for someone of her age.

People aren't dismissing her suffering but they are now sick of this vile drawn out media frenzy which is being fed by Goody and Clifford.
