This is truly horrifying, what will they think of next, displaying her body in the OK offices for a week?

I thought that her dying might be good in the long run for the kids as it meant that they would have a chance to grow up living a normal life away from the media but it seems that the gutter press will be getting their hooks into the kids too and it looks like the Father is just as bad as Jade.

Sadly it seems the kids don't have a chance.

They will be getting a nice paymenet/amount of money when they are 18 - I absolutely guarantee that they will then turn into smack-heads or similar.
You seem to be in a very optomistic mood today
Is your user name a play on the word nasti, or something even worse?
My mum used to say, if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I think she would be amused by the irony of your posting regarding anothers lack of dignity.
It is certainly providing me with a laugh

"OK! magazine has defended its decision to publish a tribute edition to Jade Goody even though she is still alive.
This week's copy of the magazine carries a black border, the banner Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue 1981 - 2009 and the strapline In Loving Memory.
In a statement, the magazine said: "OK!'s tribute issue is a celebration of Jade's amazing life.
Jade's family have spoken to OK! today to reiterate that they understand the tribute issue and view it as being very kind to Jade."

C'mon everyone, take a step back, blinkers off, this (as opposed to her condition) is actually very funny.
Ok mag hits the news stands on a Wednesday morning (so I'm told ) and is on the presses a couple of days earlier.
The preceding weekend Jade was reported as being very low and at deaths door. I fully expected her to pass over on the Sunday night or during the Monday - as did the magazine editor!!!! The edition was signed off to print with everyone expecting her to be dead by Wednesday morning! Imagine the sales if she had!
Unfortunately for the mag she has - as terminally ill people often do - rallied and is fighting for a little bit longer.
Ironically, executives at OK mag probably spent last weekend and Monday/Tuesday wishing her dead!
The guff about her family understanding the tribute issue etc is pure Max Clifford working with the mag to keep egg off faces!
I wonder what OK will print when she actually goes given that they have used up the material this week?

She'll be yesterday's news then. OK will back to printing alternate weekly stories about female celebs being too fat, or female celebs being to thin!

I find the whole circus around Jade Goody tasteless and a farce ..... but, and this is the important thing, she is doing what she can to allow her boys the best possible future - despite her pain and suffering ..... and that can only be admired, surely?
Nice to see the real Pete stand up

People aren't dismissing her suffering but they are now sick of this vile drawn out media frenzy which is being fed by Goody and Clifford.
I have no idea whether her family sanctioned it or not. Have you? The remarks I made about that article in my post still stand of course.

My thoughts are for the girl herself, surely that is pretty apparent. Her approaching death does an awful lot to excuse the money she is trying to make for her lads.

The rest of her family are of no consideration as far as I am concerned. I sincerely hope the money will be in trust for her boys.

I actually don't care if she did push that article, do we know that by the way. Is she even in a position to understand that it is happening? I still applaud her efforts as a mother on behalf of her lads.

What possible good would all that cash make to her personally anyway? She is doing it for altruistic purposes which to my mind excuses her from any criticism. If you don't like the sound of the article, are you forced to buy the magazine anyway?

So much mention has been made about the money that I cannot help wondering if some of the unpleasant remarks stem from a touch of the "green eyes".

What an unfair assumption that her lads will automatically turn out to be "smackheads".

Les, These mags always pay thousands for the rights to pictures and to publish these big issues. I'd bet anything it's no different this time around.

She's a media ***** by nature. I'm sure the money is the excuse but the nations attention will be as much of a motivation I would imagine.

No green eyes at all. I wouldn't swap places with her now or before all this for all the money in the world.

As for her lads turning into a similar waste of space as their mother I think it's pretty inevitable considering the upbringing they're going to have.

I really cannot believe the magazine has gone to print - Jade has clearly let them down by fighting on.

I have alot of sympathy for what she as a 27 year old is going through - however I cannot condone the way she has manipulated the press to the very end.

Some say she is doing it for the boys??? By now she must have more than enough money to ensure their future is secure.

I hope for them that their ACTUAL father Jeff Brazier does bring them up - far better than that waste of space she married (it is so transparent he's only in it for the money!)

So, what will OK do when she does eventually die........issue yet another magazine (which are already selling on Ebay!!)

I have heard though that they will be issuing a free gift - a small bag, better known as a Goody Bag!!

Oh - I alomst forgot - Jade has also signed a final TV deal - apparently she will be appearing in Most Haunted sometime in April............................

Ever think that sometimes, the blokes who beat gays up are secretly Gay but cant admit it, I reckon Nat loves Jade so much he cant come to terms with her illness and is dealing with it in his own way.

I did say in a previous post that I was no more impressed by her media performances before she was diagnosed or the actions of the gutter press and the magazines who are the real ****** in this affair, than anyone else.

What I am saying now however, is that knowing she is a terminal case with a short time left to her, she has the responsible attitude to try to provide for her sons as best she can and to provide them with the sort of education that she never had. She has only one way to do this, taking advantage of the situation and the undoubted interest of so many people who are prepared to buy the papers and the magazines.

Why should she care what some people think about it, those who consider themselves, rightly or wrongly, a cut above her. What personal profit will she make apart from the knowledge that her sons will be provided for as well as she personally can manage?

She is prepared to do whatever it takes to get that money together, she is doing nothing illegal, it is down to a mother's love for her children, and I applaud her for that. It is a good indication of her own character that she is doing all that, not for her own profit, since she is dying, but for truly altruistic reasons.

I don't have to read the tabloid press about it and neither does anyone else. I am not going to rush out and buy a copy of OK magazine, who I think to be opportunists with no morals.

I was once veering towards that dreadful slide that she is on, I often wonder if I would have had the same guts as she is demonstrating in her awful situation!

We are told that she is dying and is suffering very badly too. I saw a very close friend die with cancer which had mestasised to his liver and stomach. It was a terrible way to be in a sort of helpless existence, in constant pain, and no hope for the future.

Whatever one thinks of her performances etc when she was not ill, surely it is not so difficult to feel a bit of genuine human pity for her state, enough to avoid running her down, and also to refrain from making cheap and not very clever jokes about, or making unnecessary inferences with respect to her two lads who have done nothing wrong!

Q: What's the difference between Wendy Richard and Jade Goody?

A: About 3 weeks.

Is this too early to crack yet? Sorry Les I couldn't help myself.

Whilst I feel extremely sorry for her, I can't help finding the whole situation very distasteful. Although in many ways I admire her fighting spirit.
