Liking the set up couple of questions..... I'm thinking of a HD projector and see prices from the high hundreds to several thousand. Are the cheaper ones any good would you know ? As thats more likely to be my budget.

Also the Harmony remote. Any good ?? easy to set up and use ???

I'm using some old speaker cable that came with an LG home cinema system.... I know I know!

I'm thinking it's time I get some better stuff. Am I as well just popping into Richer Sounds and picking some up? What's should I be looking for on a budget?

Heres mine now I finally mounted the TV in the front living room

Back living room has a 42" Rear Projection TV

This room I used to have a 100 inch motorised screen but the projector bit the bullet

and this is what is behind the wall

got the new TV this week... + BluRay (even though we have no B/R discs yet)

our denon DVD home cinema gave up the ghost and under the warrenty I took out it went off to be repaired, they couldn't fix it so we got it back and then had a £499 voucher to spend at Currys to buy something else, they don't do anything as good as the DENON now, so we opted for a better TV (37" FULL 1080p HD) than we have and paid the extra.. also took the offer of the deal they had on the matching BluRay and stand if bought at the same time as the TV.

the Denons Ok to use as the amp for surround sound but as the DVD part is busted, we can now use the BluRay to play discs.

Soooooooooooooooooo... from this....

we now look like this.... (can you see any difference??) lol

Looks like Transformers to me

That Denon was a great bit of kit, first bit of Home Cinema I had, bloody incredible for the price.

Current setup is 50" Panny Plasma, 102" PJ screen with 1080p Projector, 360, PS3, Sky HD, Onkyo 605 and Tannoy Custom F1 Speakers running 7.1
Might get some pics over the weekend....

love some of the projector systems, definately something i'd like to do if i could get a dedicated h/c room!
mine at the moment..

Pioneer krp500a plasma
Denon 2809 amp
sky hd
panasonic bd55 blu-ray player
ps3 slim
ninty wii
xbox 360
kef iq surround speaker package
b&w 675 subwoofer
Ikea oppli stand and bookshelves
Next change will probably to knock out the chimney breast the plasmas on, move it all back move the bookshelves to another room and get some on wall speakers, but thats a lot of grief and a long way off!

the rears( I really must get round to wall mounting them..)

we took our chimney breast out, the one above in the bedroom came out too and the part in the loft had to be supported with steel work, so we kept the look of the chimney outside. Doing that make the rrom a better squire size to work with.

Some nice set ups here, I need to pay some attention to my audio/visual.

I would be a bit embarrassed to show you my set up, ( if you can even call it a set up ) but its something that doesnt float my boat.

I walk into Currys and all the sales people start running around excitedly shouting...

..." look, look, he is here again, roll out the discontinued sh1te.....he will have it all, have we still got that rear projector TV we cant sell, wheel that out too! "

" Grab as many Monster cables as you can carry, Xmas bonus here we come...."
