morning all. hope i haven't started any arguments lol and thank you for your comments. with regard to the filter. it is actually meant to sit further into the wing but i extended it to get more air in. the dummy fog lamp cover still fits in place but i just remove it when its sunny and dry as it vents better then. i put some holes in the cover so it can still vent ok and put mesh behind it too. i dont run a dump valve on my car at all so you can imagine the noise it makes when i change gear with the filter sticking out the front. get plenty of chatter. i keep thinking of an alternative way of having the filter but not come up with anything yet. thanks again
