Very sorry to hear hear this. People don't realise that depression is a strange thing and can sometimes go unnoticed untill its too late.

Damn, I didn't realise who this was until I read the post again - I bumped into Tom at a shell station ages ago and had a little race driving back from MK city centre... tragic for the family...

P.S. Don't worry about me, I'm Scoob'd now.
Yeah strange situation to be in... the emotions become so overwhelming you essentially lose your basic survival abilities and your brain turns to mashed potato... when you come out of the whole situation eventually you look back wonder wtf was going through your mind.

Very sad, condolences to all left behind; suicides are very hard on the friends and loved ones of the deceased.

On a "moderation" note. This thread is for people who feel compelled to leave condolences about the death of THIS individual.

It is NOT for a discussion on the validity of condolence threads, or for people to make insensitive/inflammatory comments.

If you don't like these kinds of threads, walk on by, that is the dignified and respectful thing to do.

If you have an opinion on suicide generally, then maybe it's best to start a new discussion and not muddy the waters of this thread, or at least phrase your comments in a sensitive/tactful manner.

Thanks,

Ns04

we knew tom very well, and im sure all who knew him were shocked at the news. it was the last thing you would think that he would do. he was well liked by all who new him and his wicked sence of humour. if only he spoke of his worrys he would still be with us. it was a very moving service and he will be missed by all. our hearts go out to jen and ellie. rest in peace mate , andy, tracy and boys
