You truly fail to understand what is going on out there in every way, I was going to write a big reply here, but correcting someone who is so brainwashed as yourself is a futile task.

dedrator thats my view based on looking at it from both sides, have you ever met an iraqi before?? have you spoke to some one that lived there have you been there.i'm lucky enough to live in london and i get to meet and to speak to people from diffrent places, please educate me share your views as long as your not writting an essay then im more than happy to hear your views and be honest and blunt as you can, only that way i will be able to see things from your side too.

please try not to be rude about it though.

It would mean more if those protestors chased Billy Liar around the place instead, not forgetting the rest of that egregious mob.

I bet it took both of your brain cells to come up with that, well done really adding to the debate. Its funny how some people can have a heated debate and keep thing civil where others just have a 'you disagree with me so f**k off mentality'.
Your complete lack of any manners or brains lends yourself to being some kind of cannon fodder, I hope you have not left the army yet I am not sure you are ready for a civilian life .

No, not quite they do not threaten, they just kill you, or burn you with acid or to death if female and want such outrageous things as an education or not to marry a 70 y/o when you are a 13 y/o girl. The nerve of some people, now back to your cave and get washing them Burkas!

So basically certain members of this forum, who wear the Queen's uniform are no better than the Taliban?
I have to disagree with you there.

I think some people need to distinguish pro-Taliban and anti-war.

It looks like more of an ironic comparison, is there a problem?

Are you saying that you cannot be both?

The fools and scumbags protesting at the soldiers return were anti-war, are you 100% convinced that they are nothing to do with or non supporters of the Taliban, if so how can you be?

paul as i stated many times people sometimes put tradition or culture before religon. i do the same i went out to a bar saturday night with a few old friends my religon states for me not to be there but i have done wrong because i have put my lifestyle and cultore before my religon.

and all this stuff you read about how horrible the taliban are some of it might be true but no one is perfect. i hear mixed views on the taliban one from the media and one from afganies them selfs. i dont agree with some of things taliban do but none of us are perfect that includes all the troops no matter where there from. personally i dont like wars full stop the people that instigate them should all get in to a ring and do as they please. its not fair that a lot of innocent people get caught in between.

peace

I think the issue is that blusnose seemed to take the suggestion that since I was anti the Iraq war in his logic it means that I supprt the taleban. Which is a very strange leap of logic.

I think he wanted you to join so he could shoot you at least that's how i read it and IMHO.

Widening that out though is it possible some of the anti war crowd protesting and calling British soldiers 'baby killers', 'rapists' and 'go to hell' could be supporters of the Taliban, quite possible. It appears that scumbag Chowdary asked for donations for Jihad and he was a part of the protest. He is also a teacher (not sure what he teaches or to whom) so in a position of what should be respect and to be listened to.

It is certanly ironic That British Soldiers are being called names such as 'Baby killers' when I see the locals//taliban have no problems blowing up kids - baby killers?

I can’t comment on the views of the Muslims who protested.
But your comment about washing my Burka was aimed at me, and I sir, am not Taliban.

Chowdary is a strange character indeed. He is an unemployed laywer on benefits, the vast majority of people whatever religion think of him as a random nut job. The protest managed 20 people a ridiculously low amount considering the number of muslims in Luton and the tiny number of people says all you need to know. 10-12 years ago the Khilafa was prominent in Luton and was preaching the same rubbish about making Britan an Islamic state they managed bigger attendance than those nut jobs who are protesting now. I don't doubt that these idiots support the taleban but make any of them go and live in afganistan and their opinions will soon change.
There is only one group who really have influence and support in the Muslim population of Luton and that one family will certainly have the ability to drum the nut jobs out of town should they become a serious problem of start to gather more support.

You seem to be looking to be offended imho - why?
Have i accused you of being taliban?? - please show me where i did this???

if i may - you do seem to have a little bit of a persecution complex

To clarify;
The Burka comment from this thread is a response to someone else's (post #353). nothing more, nothing less and i cannot fathom how you think it relates to you

The coment 'Thats what the Taleban do' implied that either myself or riosingh support or defend the taleban if this was not the implication than why on earth make that comment ?
If riosingh (a sikh) was a Taleban supporter then the coment would have some basis as he is not it reads to me like an insinuation.
