I get it all the time. The chav lot see the subaru as a bench mark to beat. If they get past they can tell their mates in the pub how they 'did the subaru off the lights, over a bottle of blue wkd

I was taking the cat to the vets today(he's had a few problems, needed a blood test), so was taking it easy. I pulled over behind a large van, parked on my side of the road, changing street lights, to let the on coming traffic past(all of two cars). This old dear, 60+ over took me, and nearly planted her car straight into the oncoming car! Best bit, she had to reverse back behind me, i just gave her a look, but she pretended i wasn't there!

yep all the time. and even those who refuse to let you pull in form the slip road, had it today on the way to the market. wife was driving, she floored it and managed to slide into the traffic, then he was hanging on the exhaust fumes. giving it all that, 30m later he turned off. what is the reason for that nonsense.....

I had one young un in a french box thingy, trying to get his car into my boot while on the last bit of the journey coming back from my parents. I had the wife and my then 1 1/2 month old daughter in the car so was being careful. We have quite a nasty corner near us which you would think is 20 - 30 mph but in reality is more like 10 -15 because it tightens and you can't see it tightens until your in it. so I come out of the corner, i'm in 3rd doing 15 mph and he decides to overtake, he didn't have get a shock when the scoob started to came on boost, good job I wasn't interested and changed up at 3k5 rpm.

P.S. I only seem to get 30-something wanna-be's doing it to mine, mainly just throw it round a corner without braking, and watch them understeer off the road. Pure Comedy !

I get my fair share of tailgaters. If im on big roads, I loose them, in town do my level best to annoy them with my best Grandpa Driving lol.

On the flipside of this, I find that people on multi lane roads seem to get out my way quickly when they see the scoop coming up behind them. This never seems to happen in the other cars i drive, always get stuck behind the person that has to do 70 in the 'fast lane' on the M-way in other cars

Thing is thought (and I'll get flamed for this) 70 is technically the legal limit in the "fast lane". If some **** was doing 55 in the fast lane then fair does.

(And yes I have done 71 on a motorway before)

I had a Saxo boy give me some jip this afternoon..... I am just starting to get a feel for my car, and I couldn't help but smile when I managed to leave him for dust. Unfortunately he caught up with me at the lights on the duel carriageway and his jaw dropped when he realised I was a woman! He sat there again while I left him for dust and I assume his mate picked his jaw up off the steering wheel!

Anyone will have a go these days but the worst offenders are those who have not yet worked out which is the right way to wear their baseball cap!

All Subarus should have the following bumper sticker.

"If you wish to get any further up my ar$e.

We need to be on first name terms."

Once in my old classic had a van about 1ft from the rear bumper. Flamer got switched on and sent flames up the bonnet and windscreen. he soon pulled back.

I seem to get a bit more respect on the roads in the Scoob then other cars. You get the sales rep type cars that refuse to believe someone can have a faster car then them that didnt cost £90k, but for the most part its ok.
Now when I am in the little vw gti I get what feels like EVERYONE in the slip stream.

Difference is in the scoob I could move over a lane and put my foot down so they cant get passed.
In the golf I have to just give in.
