The regs are strict, Simon cant because of roof vent not allowed and the side vents are too big, no hans , no window nets. It gets quite expensive to get from MSA to FIA level. Not sure about Kevin though, he may just needs nets and not sure if he has hans yet.

The missing joker part isnt that big as not much happens, sure there will be some action on the way out of the Joker lap with more cars racing though

B*llocks! I was really looking forward to seeing the Horton Impreza running as it wasn't running well on its last outing at Lydden.

After a 12 year absence from our shores, The European Rallycross Championship is back, and the opening round is at Lydden Hill in Kent. This is not to be missed by any motorsport enthusiast, as it involves the fastest, closest racing I know. 650bhp is the norm. Marcus Gronholm and Henning Solberg are rumoured to be competing amongst some others tbc.

And to top it all, I found out today that, the guest commentator will be........

Murray Walker.

So who's up for watching some real motorsport?

1. The GreenWagon Mob.
2. Scooby Blue WRX / Arkwright
3. WRXDaron
4. Supercue & MadOli
5. TomR555
6. Mark B4
7. Tiny & Karen
8. Milamber

Meet at Thurrock services @ 7:00am,
Leaving @ 7:15am Sharp.

Didn't we all in both cases

You two are so competitive, even over who's wife wore the trousers FIRST

Of course Evo's are allowed, we'll just have to slow the convoy, so you can keep up.

Ticket on the gate only, £20 ea. (under 12's free)

Really looking forward to this one

Never been to this venue before & looking @ some of the pics that are posted , It looks like you can sit reasonably close to where you park ? Is this the case ?

Just thinking about taking the picnic / stove stuff down with us for a little bit of munch etc ............

...........
Yep, because of the situation of the track in a valley, you can see the track from the car and visa-versa.

As you can see from this pic, which Chris loves, track in front, car park behind.
