B. It was quiet as the wind was unusually blowing off shore, and hence the sound was carried out to sea.

I find the return to earth just as amazing, the speed and rate of decent is awesome.

Just watched a 4 minute pass overhead, unassisted!
Probably helps the sun has just set.

With the binoculars it was just a bigger bright spot.

They are a performing an EVA at the moment by the sounds of it.

Yeh, it was June 2007! Cant remember the name of the town we watched it from. Got talking to an American who said the last 6 launches he'd driven down to see had all been cancelled, so we felt very lucky to see it at our first attempt. Will post up some more pics in a mo if anyones interested.
