try a visit to Bradford, you will find areas where English is not spoken, plenty of businesses set up by non English speakers serving a customer base of non English speakers - its own little world, own rules, etc. And where as a White English person you are not exactly made to feel welcome/comfortable...

I mention Bradford as i have first hand experience, not likely is it that it is the only example and should never have been allowed to happen in the first place.

Good old Daily Mail dross
Not just the Daily Mail - this made Newsbeat on Radio1 today - I think it's first class!!

Totally agree though, if Mr. White from the UK had said this, the bearded sandle wearing guardian/dail mail brigade would be out in force wouldn't they?!

What's more, where they hell were they last week when the British muslim extremists were slagging off our soldiers??!!

Gotta agree with Urban:

"Live in our country, speak our language, abide by our rules or get the **** out" or don't even come here in the first place

that doesn't apply, as Deva's says he knows who who n the area and those who try he has no problem with. it's those he knows have been in the country years and have made no effort to learn English.

this also applies to the italian population around the area too who have been here years (after the war..... the 2nd) carlton and bakerfield have a high number of anglo Italians, some of which are aging and still can't speak English.

English is a second language for one in seven school pupils

The high number of pupils who do not speak English as a first language can make classroom teaching difficult

One in seven primary school pupils does not speak English as a first language.
The number who normally speak a foreign language rose last year to 565,888 - 14.3 per cent of the total.
In some areas, English is a foreign language to more than 70 per cent of four to 11-year-olds, putting enormous pressure on teaching staff. And there are ten schools without a single pupil who has English as a first language, new figures show.
Teachers say large concentrations of children with a poor grasp of English can lead to some schools being unfairly condemned by inspectors.
Parliamentary questions have revealed that in 2004, 452,388 primary school children spoke English as a second language. By last year this figure had increased by 113,500, a rise of almost exactly 25 per cent.
In secondary schools, the proportion of pupils who do not have English as their native language has increased from 8.8 per cent in 2004 to 10.6 per cent last year.
The soaring figures reflect the fact that immigration into the UK is now five times higher than when Labour came to power in 1997. Net immigration has increased from 48,000 that year to 237,000 in 2007.

Dont take this the wrong way,

wouldn't it be ironic, if he took his employers to a tribunal, and played the race card..

it would show how crass the situation is at the mo.

His comment's made perfect sence, so why is he being pilloried(sp)

so much for diversity & multiculturalism.

Prehaps if we had set the rules in place before we opened the floodgates, we

wouldn't be in the situation were in now..
