I have to admit that she was not my favourite person. However I never understood the venom which some people on here had for her.
However the way she behaved since she was told her illness was terminal has to be admired. She has provided for her 2 boys. She has also done women especially young women a service by highlighting the need to get screened for this disease.
I suspect Max Cliifford had a great deal of empathy for her in this case, as his own wife died from cancer not so long ago.

I wonder if those evil minded posters who accused her of feigning her dreadful illness with a miracle cure to suddenly appear have got the moral character to at least admit they were wrong, even if it is beyond them to actually apologise!
I respect her fight on her boys' behalf, and I am glad that she is now free of the awful pain and suffering she endured so well.

Well said, good to see that some people on this thread have got the common decency and guts to say what is at the root of all the publicity etc as far as Jade Goody was concerned. She never did anybody any harm by it and she also made up fully with Shilpa Shetty over her ill thought out remarks.

I dont think she has done anything bad enough to deserve to suffer like that. It should be the likes of baby ps torturers, joesef pretzil and people like that etc who should be dealt the hand of death.
Its not the cancer that would kill me it would be knowing i wouldnt be there for my son. Imagine someone saying you have weeks to live, how do you deal with something like that.

Sad for her sons, but I will welcome the rest from the constant media coverage. 27 is too young to die, no matter how much of a tw@t you are. The only thing I will say is, there are a lot of younger people out in the middle east fighting & dying on a daily basis, yet we seem more preoccupied with a reality TV star.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting she is anything special, I just think the negativity towards her from some people is a real let down.

sad news in my eyes,no one deserves to die at such an early age..and for it to happen today i feel for them kids.
but im not forgetting that she isnt the only one suffering today and every day with such a terrable desiese. so im gonna send out my condolences to everyone who has lost somebody today and everyday including the jade family

If you:
a) Just don't see the point in these threads
b) Dont care about the death of Jade
Then just walk on by - it's very simple and is the dignified and respectful thing to do. Jade has attracted quite enough vitriol from her critics and we really don't need an RIP thread on the day she has died to further contribute to that.

Agreed & I did say I was sad for her sons & the fact she died too young. Plenty of other people die on a daily basis, in just as tragic circumstance, but where is their media circus so they have a few quid to leave their families?

I have avoided the media circus like the plague, to be honest I was sick to death of it
But one question that springs to mind, is what happened to Jeff, the kids real Dad ?
I saw a post on here saying that Jade requested that he moves into her house and raises the kids, when they split up did he have much invlovement with the kids
I feel sorry for the kids, and it is sad that she has died, but hopefully the media milking will now die down and the kids be left alone in privacy to grow up

She has left her 2 boys financially strong. She used her skills in securing her boys future.
Yes, she was stupid, yes she was hyped and yes it was dis-tasteful ..... but she could earn £1,000's for just turning up somewhere, anywhere, anytime - she had an earning capacity that we can only dream about and she put it to work for her children.
I will not miss her, but her little boys will - and 27 is no age to leave this mortal coil .... sad.
May her boys now be left alone to grow ..... may her husband become a father in the real sense of the word.

A sad tale, and I offer sympathy for the family and am sorry that someone so young had to endure this.
However, regarding her milking the situation for the benefit of her kids I find distasteful, but also understand her motive. She had already amassed considerable wealth over the last few years and I feel the situation has been handled quite disgracefully. You only need to look at Jane Tomlinson to see how one can spend their last days in dignity helping others. Jane was not from a wealthy background albeit maybe not as troubled as Jades youth, but managed to use her borrowed time raising £1.5m+ for related charities, and heighten awareness, not for her 3 children and husband left behind. Her actions draw much more respect from me than the greed and desperation exhibited by Ms Goody and those around her.
On a personal note, I'm gonna have a bloody awful night at w*rk now as every tittle-tattle gossip mag on the shelves clamours to break the news

Looking at it from the kids point of view.. who gives a **** what you or anyone else thinks .. I lost my mum .. I want the money
I'd rather my mum had left me 4 million than died with respect .. once your dead your dead .. she has given her kids the best chance at life ..

I place dignity over wealth everytime..... and I'd expect the same view from those around me, anyone attempting to desperately rake in a few "more" million so that their children can receive the education they didn't is downright pathetic, try educating the children with standards and values.... not through the size of your bank balance.
although theres plenty of scum on here that will

Did you check out the american mags as NR lived in the US
