Jade Goody RIP

She was still English, a Londoner, just like that other gifted, talented and respected celebrity whom died today
On the plus-side, British ignorance will give Liam Neeson and his family some peace whilst they grieve.

Why do so many posts on this thread start with 'I never relly liked her but......' (or words to that effect)?
Then go on to say 'she didn't deserve to die.........'
Whether you liked her or not is irrelevant, are we all too afraid that by showing sympathy for this poor girl we might lead people to believe we are/were fans?
And its a statement of the bleedin obvious to say she didn't deserve to die a horrible death.
My thoughts are of complete saddeness and sympathy for her suffering and her families loss.
Enough said!

I heard it on the radio on the way to work today. It was a shock to hear that Jade died on Mothers Day. Apparently her mum was beside her when she breathed last. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for her mother and children to lose her on Mother's Day; even when they knew she was destined to go.
In front of death, Jade was like millions who die untimely of either a terminal disease or something else. My sincere sympathy to their families, including Jade's.
I remember a young mother from my daughter's school passed away so very suddenly a few years ago, of a blood clot in her brain. It still hurts thinking about her kids and even her, who was so full of life, who had so much to live for. It was very close to Mother's Day, it killed the spirit of our village that year for the occasion. Similar happened when a younge father from school suddenly deteriorated and died within a week, of something as poxy as chicken pox entering his lungs. It was horrendous.
To Jade, a mother of two young children:
Rest In Peace.

Yeah right ! No matter how much people dislike the girl, her death isn't a day for funny remarks Cancers really is such a bastid and from quoted termial to death the docs were virtually spot on. Thats a horrible thing to think of when they quote the same times for someone you actually know

Just maybe if someone had put Jade up for adoption when she was born then she might of had a happier life and turned out a very different person.
People who want to judge her, should at least try and understand why she turned out as she did.

For gawds sake folks, I've already asked once in this thread for it to stick to RIP messages. It is, afterall, an RIP thread!
If you want to start a discussion on the whole issue of using the media to generate income for the future of your children before death and the merits of money vs parenting etc... let's have it on another thread, eh!
If you've had a message deleted above, it's because it was off topic.

Is the reason for the non-sympathy posts because the thread was started as a tool of jest and not a genuine RIP thread? The OP said he won the sweep at work and the next two threads were along similar lines. Just a thought.

People seem to be complaining about the amount of attention this sad matter is receiving, yet keep these threads alive...
Anyhoo, this thread may have started with a bit of a dig as well as an acknowledgment of the situation being sad, but it was largely taken up by the community as an RIP thread, and that is now the purpose it should serve.
Limit comments to condolences on this thread, please.
There have been (and probably will continue to be) many other opportunities to make other kinds of comment.
