Did you cry when your child was born .. to the men !

No didnt cry (too exhausted!), but laughed when she pooed some treacle on my arm - God knows where she got it from. She even teases me about it it now - they grow so quickly!
A bit ridiculous they make babies so big and the outlet rather mismatched - very traumatic for us blokes!

I did for both. They were both born in the kitchen/family room. One was 8lbs 14oz and the second was 10lbs 2oz. Both were born with just a little NOS - very impressed at her indoors!!
It is quite an experience doing it all at home - more connected, more emotional

Yes for both births, two amazing moments, agree with the true love at first sight comments posted above.
And as said above they can still make you cry just like that, the other night my 5 year old daughter told me she wanted to go back to England because she missed her friends, it was just the way she said it and the look on her face had me choking them back.

I have 2 boys and I shed a quiet tear at each of their births.

As my wife had 2 c-sections, I was the first to hold both of them and yes, I did boo.
Not just the emotion of it all, but the crapping of pants as I was slowly starting to realise that I had real responsibilities now!
Best feeling in the world, without a doubt

Not at the birth but they drive me to tears regularly !
Try having three boys aged 9, 11 and 13, wouldnt change a thing but they are hard work, like the Three Stooges battering each other.

Not at the birth, but far more embarassingly about 3 hours later at the front of the queue in Mothercare I'd been sent there to pick up some extra bits and bobs and was swaying gently at the counter from 48 hours with no sleep, a dopey grin, and the whole emotion of it when the till girl said " You've just had your first , haven't you" and I was gone .
6 foot 1 and (then) around 17.5 stone stone blubbing in front of about 5 women FFS
I saw a bloke go past in the background carrying a new cot and i thought that he was about to chuck up - either with disgust at me letting the gender down or because he could see what it does to otherwise normal blokes and he was scared

A little bit - partly with relief (slightly traumatic birth) but partly because we had lost a baby boy 11 months before at 37 weeks (true knot in his cord).
Was a joyous moment though to be remembered above anything else.
