Thanks - yes, it must have been (Blue) mine, still there until to-morrow !!! Dave thinks the Boost is going elsewhere !! apparently a strange one for him .

I have to say it's a bit of cheat , it's official name is an NB-R, apparently a run of 100 in Japan, the previous owner put the Sti interior in and added the Sti pink logos, I added the newage pink/chrome badges, came out of the box so to speak with Sti suspension (red) and bigger brakes and wheels than the std WRX back then - it was available in Manual and 4 spd Auto/Tip and only 3 came over here (I'm told). it also came with the "riser" rear spoiler base (the boot is very very light also). Nifty thing is the central postion rev counter like Sti and the gear your in, is displayed in the rev counter itself, came with a "fairly" healthy 256 ft/lb and 248 bhp @ 5,875 - printout supplied by Interpro, it was agood find as I needed an Auto, following a foot injury, gort me back into Scoobyville anyway !!....................oops sorry to ramble a bit

Thanks mate, came home yesterday - Maf was stuffed - and leaking dump valve base causing boost to go elsewhere, all sorted now, drives like it should ............ was faultering badly, symptoms of coils/plugs/maf etc etc, diagnostics done on the engine and Auto gearbox was also getting intermittent CEL's - now sorted. No courtesy car, although I didn't ask, as I've got use use of a lease car until July, when it goes back, so not sure if courtesy cars are available top guys there though, Dave Coes has own rally Impreza and this week an ex Richard Burns WRC car is in beng maintained !! So fingers crossed it should be sorted until 50k service......

It's worth checking the main dealers too, they are quite competitive..just had the 5 yr service done with a cambelt at Keith Price Subaru ...£400 all in inc parts and labour..plus the piece of mind of main dealer service..

Very friendly, courtesy car provided, technician showed my round the car after showing what had been done...very impressed...

Another recommended garage is Ace Motorsport in Newbridge, an ex-prodrive mechanic who really knows his onions

That is worth remembering CVC Cardiff, I think is my closest dealer, but they turned their nose up at my JDM Wouldn't even help me out over the phone with a query over my gearbox - but that's a good price you paid with peace of mind thrown in

Dave is doing work for the main dealers at the moment. Saw a Keith Price car when I was there.
