Was just wondering who was doing your powder coating for you? Looking for someone to do the crinkle effect on my manifold and intercooler pipes too!

Cheers

Default Just wow...

It started out as me looking for prodrive fog light covers for a USDM 03 WRX...

2 Threads and a created account later I am at the edge of my seat to see this car finished.

I read from the beginnings of "I want to keep it OEM."

to

"This is my vinyl wrap and rally helmet holder and no back seats."

I read through the giddy first beginnings, to the sad trust breaking of friends.

There is a quote somewhere in there (paraphrasing) "I can get parts anywhere, but when a friend lets me down its irreplaceable"

I am following this car till it breathes its last breath. Then I will stalk the guy Frayz sells it to.

I was there for the
"Frayz-Engineering Prodrive Edition V7 STi. The T26 WRC build thread"

NEVER FORGET!

Wow man, just wow.

I never thought anyone would have followed the rollercoaster ride of my car from so far back. Im really touched that you have read all of it and followed the build.

I am helping a friend with some fuel rails at the moment and working all hours god sends with my day job. But a big update will be coming soon i promise you guys i wont let you go without.

Cheers for the post Bertio

One of the craziest part has been reading the...

"...Oh yeah guys picked up my X from the powdercoater"

"...Just picked up Y from the powdercoater"

"...Was able to get back Z from the powdercoater"

Meanwhile im in my head doing the $$$ calculations and its crazy!

Frayz you financially owe it to yourself to finish this car. Think of it as $20,000 of stress therapy.

(please do not make a joke about how far I am off at $20,000 it will scare me)

In all seriousness take your sweet time, life is about priorities and for all I know you are bouncing a child on your knee or rolling around in the hay with a GIRL! I am sure you are good at putting your priorities in order 8D

Lol, dont even start with how much this has cost me lol.

Im still only 27 and on a normal wage so its one of the main reasons its all taken so long. Oh and im a stickler for details lol.

It will be done soon though. Currently enjoying my new daily drive far more than i should. The new daily whip is a Clio 182 and i cant get enough of how much fun it is lol.

Dont fret guys, i will update you all soon

Fouls on so much Daz, i think its gonna be a complete new pipe. Also wasnt aware that i had to ditch the clutch hardlines for braided. Cheers to Steven for the heads up regarding that.
