scooby L, Got them direct from Rally Armor in the US. Check out there website
Rally Mud Flaps
Fitting is easy once you've done one side. + they have a video showing how too![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)
CaptainJohn, yes I agree the subaru ones look better but offer far less protection.

Lovely car mate, I have the UK MY08 STI in Dark Grey also...
Have you had/made sure it has had the updated re-map from the factory (to stop the det/knock issues)?
Lovin the G meter, LOL
My advice is leave the DCCD in Auto but turn off the VDC completely when you are in the mood for some fun, you'll love it. It's a bit tail happy as standard (compared to other Scoobies I've had), but don't worry, keep your foot planted and the DCCD will kick in and the front wheels will pull you back out of the slide (suggest you try this somewhere safe the first time obviously, until you get used to it).
Have done the following so far to my car and it has transformed the performance/handling while remaining fine/comfortable to use as an everyday car:
Turbo back Milltek (high flow sports cat) full exhaust system, K&N panel filter & re-map (343bhp)
Whiteline: ARBs, ALK, Postive Traction Kit, Drop links, Rear Sub-frame mounts, Front sub-frame brace & steering rack bushes. Powerstation power steering pump mod & 4 wheel alignment (18" 5 spokes/Goodyear F1's)
Still not handling quite the way I want it to though so currently saving up for either an AST or Exe-tec coilover kit (or just Eibach lowering springs) and some minor brake mods (they are powerfull enough for me, they just start to fade a bit during hard use).
And whatever you do, do not look at this - HKS USA HKS CAMP2 Real-Time Engine Monitoring
See you around mate, Dave

Nice motor mickp, love the number plate![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Thanks for the tips Dave P, Just waiting for the warranty docs back from subaru UK b4 I can book in for the ECU reflash. Found a dealer who will do it with the 1st 1000 mile service. Currently staying below 4000rpm with the rev light/beep set to 3800rpm until after the service and ECU update
cheers

This is great seeing all the hatchbacks. I haven't seen one in the Highlands other than mine in the last 10 months.
I am waiting for the PPP to be fitted. The dealer has just told me they will need my car for a week because the ECU will be removed, sent to prodrive and then be returned. Is this correct? I pay £1600, get a new back box and lose my car for a week?
I am loving the mud flaps. I think I will go with subaru ones and get them to fit them.

Chris.
No this is not right. Subaru / Prodrive send the parts up front. Mine was fitted while i waited and took about three hours.
ECU, New quad back box and first cat replacement.
£1600 is the correct RRP

I've done 10k now and there are small stone chips emerging on the leading curve of the rear arches.
![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
(The Cayman had large protective stick on strips to protect the exposed bodywork, but the Scooby only has a small pathetic square at sill level..)

+1 on the rally armors
but it's a lottery if they get held up at UK customs - mine cost $180 but Royal Mail added £40! Not yet fitted them though.
Picked up my 09 DGM from M Kar in Rochdale on 25th March. The clearbra prtoection on the rear passenger doors seems much bigger than I remember on the 08 - if this is correct then Subaru must have acknowledged the problem - look on iwsti.com for the longest paint chip thread in history.
So it might be worth chasing Subaru if you've got stone chips?

Maybe I will give my local dealer a ring (trouble is they're the most tight fisted garage I've ever delt with, so not holding my breath!)
Oh and I've just ordered my set of Rally Armors

I have been waiting 2 weeks for the PPP. Subaru and my dealer both say I will lose the car for a week! I am suspicious. Are they going to do more than just reprogramme the ECU and replace the back box?
Sounds like I will need to hire a car for a week.

This sound s very strange![Ponder2](images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
If the dealer has the parts in stock, they sound be able to fit them while you wait. Can see it taking 4 hours max!
Sounds to me there sending you car else where to fit the PPP

Can you enlighten me on the power steering mod as I'm having the full Type 20 chassis/suspension set up done next week at Litchfields and not sure if this is included.

going to see one in Hull on friday nd it has gold wheels looks nice
push button looks good
tinted glass is expensive after market extra
Recaro seats ,Are they leather on the side and alacantra interiors
It now does seem to look a lot better value for a euro spec .
Is that what they call a euro spec premium?
warrenty seems ok so can you put a provdrive ppp pack on it and not keep the warrenty or possibly go the Andy forest route for a full remap after a haywood scott exhaust system.
are they undersealed ?
do i need a cat one alarm and is there any other pitfalls i need to be asking as i havent bought a newsubaru for cough cough.........9 years

Lots of questions, do my best answer![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)
WOW didn't realise you got Sat navigation is it similar to theTom tom ?
Yes similar to TOMTOM, turn by turn instruction with a clear display
going to see one in Hull on friday nd it has gold wheels looks nice
Guess you going to Motor Depot, Two dealers in the Hull area. Go to the Clarence street one, they have a showroom. Hessle dealer is all outside.
push button looks good
One of those things you never get bored of

You have to wait 4 to 8 weeks for your warranty docs and UK manuals to come through, still waiting for mine![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)

Alarm is fine, But there is NO tracker or locking wheel nuts on Euro specs.
If you get one make sure it has 8 miles or less on the clock, other wise its been out on demos and been ragged.
All Motor depot STI's need the ECU update as talked about here https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...e-failure.html
also £22995 is there movemnetin priceas they are advertsing % free
Not much movement on the price and you'll need 50% deposit for 0% , but got a good deal on the tracker install and GardX paint protection, I also got a choice of wheel colour
look forward to your comments
hope this helps

make sure you call in at the CS stand at the NBO 7 where there is a <fleet> of them on show and grab a free Cumbrian scoobs burger (as a friend of Lord H )
spoke to them today and %free is off at the moment but can do a half decent trade in price .
