any ideas? i'd use the search but we know what thats like
the wrx turbo will flow upto 280ish on the 2litre.. iirc the ppp figures claim 265 but they rarely make anywhere near that.. more like 255.. but with the ppp exhaust you are probably looking at 270~275 after a remap.. better throttle response and more torque.. but not good value for money to be honest.. better to at least decat etc then remap.

exhaust, green panel filter... 275~280bhp.. the up pipe cat doesn't really restrict but limits how far the remap can take it as they don't like heat and can break up.. but to remove the uppipe cat you need to remove turbo so it is at this point worth considering the next step etc

next step beyond that is turbo (vf34, vf35 etc) sti pink injectors or similar..

you can go on and on...

The standard pump when sticking with standard turbo is fine.. but you might want to consider changing it as they are cheap and easy to change then you know it is 100% good.

in response to your suspension issues again i found that too. i have recently fitted eibach springs, sits slightly lower but not ridiculous. but the handling is sooooo much better. i do take it easy over the speed bumps though, just in case . also remember us talking about that annoying grinding from the fronts under braking at slow speeds, well just fitted performance friction pads (on standard discs) and goodridge hoses, the diffrence is brilliant, sh*t hot in fact. the combination of the two is fantastic and it didnt cost loads either as the springs were 2nd hand (only on other car for 4 months) supply + fitted £180, brake discs £129(fronts only, well recommended despite price)hoses supply +fitted £100. something for you to ponder!!!!!

Did you have the geometry checked or altered as I thought if you lower this needs to be changed
Is it still crashy over the bumps or have the new springs helped ?
To be honest im very pleased with the brakes I use Black diaomond fast track
pads. Hoses sound like a good idea tho £100 thats a good price

as far as i am aware as long as the wheel size is the same the geometry setup remains the same, i have not noticed any probs so far. i find it slightly better over the bumps, but stiffer.and as for the hoses i would strongly recommend them, not a necessity but just loads more feel and biting response/less spongey. less travel needed on pedal

Lowering will increase static negative camber (to a lesser or greater degree - literally!).

Stuart.
just for comparison an Sti 2.5 today.. request was as much as is possible.. and it happened to be a good car.. with a miltek decat which tends to work very well.
Car made 366bhp and 390lb torque on surrey RR which doesn't tend to give inflated figures etc..
