a very good very well put across there Fozzy.

ESC has and will always be more than just a " look at my car " club. there are so many things, non car related, happening.

A lot of things that get posted dont interest me at all so i dont bother reading them, but not gonna start moaning on said threads.

anyway may stop in for a pint for the second month running, will see what time i finish work.

Why the i don't know ?

I Missed this original post at the bottom of page 1

Those 2 words were used in a message to Stu @ IB from an ESC person who uses this forum .

The person was asking for the ESC powerkiters thread to be removed from our area & put into NSR or the hutch , this topic was then discussed within the moderators forum & i being the mod for the section was asked what i thought of the request .

As fozz & a few others have mentioned , our area within scoobynet is used for just about anything we care to discuss , this obviously upsets a few members hence the request to get the thread moved out of here , there are lots of threads in here that officially should not be here , items for sale , items wanted , problems , sporting threads , but i choose not to move these from our area , where if a for sale gets posted in general then of course i move to the appropriate forum area & vice versa .

Our little area for years has thrived on lots of topics being discussed some car related some not , i choose to moderate this area as i see fit & if powerkiting , nitro cars , football , sea fishing , badminton wishes to be discussed then so be it .

Like spally mentioned & i agree there are alot of threads in here currently that i have no interest in what so ever , i have a quick glance just to make sure that everything is in order , ( spam , **** , posts etc ) & then i leave the thread & let those who it interests carry on posting .

4. In theory Yes, but I have also been known to put things in here for sale which I think Postage etc would factor in to only being of interest to someone who is close and can pick things up.

5. Yes, the car (going by the users tags) is based in Wales. Should be in For Sale, thread could be classed as spamming ..... Especially if the same thread is found in the for sale sections.

6. As Per links 2 & 3, the user is asking for someone within Essex (or as close to), this would belong to the Essex area IMO

7. Yes, Members Gallery would suit best

Anyway, as everyone probably knows, it was me who contacted Stu, I don't care about trying to hide the fact ...... unlike the people who used to like to Neg my posts and who are too spineless to tell me they have a problem, I like a bit of transparency, at least you know where you/I stand on certain issues.
