So what is all this fuss over changing oil on a Subaru?

From what I read so far, it seems to that changing oil is reaching the realms of biblical proportions.

Is it that fragile?

I mean FFS its a Subaru not a F1 car.

Wouldn't they of addressed the issue of oil starvation on start up after a change of oil. You mean to say that engines have desintergrated on start up?

yes you're right what's all the fuss over?? the only thing i do when i change the oil is pre fill the filter, and i have NEVER disconnected the crank sensor to gain oil pressure prior to start up. the main thing people need to do is remeber to change the oil and filter at regular intervals, and use a genuine oil filter.
