I had 2 mk1's but neither anything special. But did build a full on mk2 RS2000, complete with grp 4 suspension, and grp 1 engine, built to run in the Fast Ford Vectra Challenge (vectra was the name of an alarm system not a vauxhall!)
**** that was a long time ago, but would still love to own another Rs escort if only for nostalgia, was super quick in 87/88, but would prob be a slow dog compared with current cars.

might not be able to drive it but at least i have owned something i've always wanted. My mum and dad found it in a toy shop while they were out with Samuel yesteday. I clung onto my dreams and now I have my real one, so you never know......!!
