View from the 'rent's patio window:

(not Scotland though )

Although the best bit about those hills, is the driving roads that can be found up there

Ali - where's that then? Looks amazing.

Stunning views from here too but no mountains - just a river estuary, some boats and not a single other house in view, wherever you look from (unless you climb a tree!)

Thats the hills around Alcoi/Alcoy regions of inland Spain. Quite alot of houses tucked away under those trees (and cropped out of shot ), but only next door overlooks, as its in a pretty steep valley.

Thankfully the recession has put a stop to the nearby golf course proposals But the recent illumination of part of the motorway has ruined the pitch black sky at night (yes, there is a motorway in those shots).

Had similar here - a thin strip of land (3/4 of an acre) was for sale in front of us but the sale fell through. Would have been a few houses built in the way. Thankfully there's been no further interest.
It was up for £600k without planning permission (but a strong indication that it would get it from the planners)!!
