The characters stayed true to themselves though it did seem a bit quiet without the canned laughter. I was only disappointed cos it wasn`t long enough

i thought it was ok, but i suspect it might get a bit better tonight for some reason, no canned laughter left it feeling a little "sparse" ?
half way through i creased up and the missus asked why i was laughing, but i had remembered "Dwayne Dibley" from the old episodes PMSL!

It feels old and rusty like it's actors - without the laughter it's just well boring.
The whole point of Red Dwarf was the childish humour and practical jokes they played on each other, reminded you of being young again.
Now it feels like that awkward moment you have when you meet a relative, your aunt says something and you go into an uncomfortable 5 minute silence staring at the walls.

Watched altogether I think they work. Issue was that it took a while for it to warm up and be any good. Last episode is the best by far of the 3. Still, not as good as it could be.
It really did just feel like they got themselves sorted, and then it ended The chemistry between them all was just not right in the first two "episodes".

I reckon this 3 part thing was supposed to be a 1 episode special, but DAVE chopped it up to get more mileage from it.
I thought tonight's was the best one from the 3.
