A dog biting someone question
#91
To be honest I'm surprised you haven't received a claim yet from the dogs owner............
Distress to the dog
Replacement hall carpet, blood stained
Replacement front door, teeth mark damage due to her putting her hand through, and encouraging the dog............
Well isn't that how this country works?
At the end of the day the cute little puppy was defending HIS home, and if my rottie bites anyone - god help them as I don't think he'd let go!!

Its early days yet so could still happen lol
I'm off to the pub now , and my assessment of risk involved is if I come home too late and drunk i'll get a rolling pin round the back of the head

I think the house should have a sign , as the dog didn't bark , it just snapped at the letterbox , so please enlighten me how you can plan for that , how can that be assessed ?? I would love to hear it.
If the dog barked first , then it would have been assessed to get the hell out of there.

I don't think Ian is being serious anymore?
One of them times when the misses has rammed someone in your car, but is never her fault, even though the Police says it is etc etc..... Ive been there...

Risk assessment for posting letters - **** me I've seen it all now.
spirete would have us all performing risk assessments before posting anything on Scoobynet.
mind you wasn't so long ago that was actually needed

Only offering advice Ian, the fact is she took children to work with her .If one of the children had been mualed by the dog she would have had to take some responsibility for it .As luck would have it your wife only recieved a nip on the fingers and whilst the dog owners were irresponsible for not displaying warning signs , your wife was irresponsible for putting herself and the children with her at risk at work .

I read the first post, my reply to you is, that the dog was doing its job, she was entering the dogs territory, our previous rottie nearly bit a finger off a bloke trying to reach in our letterbox to steal my car keys. I laughed my **** off there was blood everywhere, I hope it hurt like hell, and I bet he didnt do that again for a whilst

Nipped finger, risking her childens lives, curbing your alloys ! Ian, you need to have words with your lady ! ;-)
In all honesty, I have to commend you sir, not many people see the funny side after 4 pages of scoobynet advice ! So, well done mate for taking it. :-) Normally people on here get all angry and become keyboard warriors.
