Makes me sick robbing ******* like this. I was alsmost stung in the same fashion until I told him I new where he lived (about 4 hours away) and I knew people near him too. Let's just say he paid up

I tend to save up a little longer and buy things new if I can now.

Good luck with it fella.

Didn't a regular SNETer start up a similar thread when they got stung for a dodgy X-Box??

The girl in question (seller) got owned big time when some enterprising young SNETters got her mobile, address, facebook pics, etc etc etc and after some judicious emailing to her friends etc, the lad got his money back.

A quick Google for Razi-Islam shows up lots of car forum accounts and other information....

Enjoy.

And that Mustaf, is the reason why scammers and con artsists exist. Because folk like you lie down and roll over.

Sod that, I would be doing everything possible (legally) to get both my money back and warn others, like the O.P. has done.

choclate the guy only bought a dumpvalve no disrespect but its only 100 quid. by the time you try and persue him legally do you know how much it will cost.?? if it was a couple of grand then i would take the legal route or even better go and camp outside his house.

forums are great to expose people prime example look how many hits this is had.

but maybe its cause of the guys username maybe that it why its dragged so long. it always happens on here and people dont got five pages?

no doubt razi bang out of order and i wont be buying anything of him and if anyof my pals ask i wil certinly warn them.

i think its bad to think that someone would sell anything that isnt in working condition if it has been mentioned to be working but i think you have to take it on the chin and just be a bit more vigilant next time i know it sucks but the longer this thread goes on its not getting you any closer to a refund and there have been slightly racist comments which have no place on a public forum i would like this thread closed as not to upset any other members on here.

Ok my 2p's worth!

I feel for the guy who got stung and its NOT right at all but it's fair to say you will never see your money and never will be contacted by RAZA.

It's getting kind of boring now the same post keeps getting brought to the top of the page.

I don't mean to be rude but we all know nothing will come of it and if it does I will be the first to admit I my self is wrong!

Unless you can find his address and pop round there and demand your money back and maybe batter him then he's got away with it!

I posted up the link in the early pages showing how this could of been avoided if a search was done and showing he bought the item he sold you was indeed fooked from the start!)

I think it should be put down to a very bad experience and count your chickens is was for alot of money!

Again don't mean to be rude buddy!

Just my 3p's worth, how about we have a sticky in the for sale section with names of sellers that have ripped people off. Now i know that sometimes its a miss understanding etc, but if the mods are the only ones that could add names then when there has been no contact from the seller I.E Razi Islam in this case, or they haven't presented an acceptable excuse/reason to the mods their name goes in until its satisfied or indefinately. Also any other usernames linked to the seller also put in. Just an idea and not sure it would work

the ebay scam thread was around 13 pages and had its own sticky for a while, so bitching about a 5 page thread is out of order.

if the lad wants his thread to stay active, then what is the harm?

sounds like "some" are almost trying to stick up for the scammer and help blow the thread away

its pathetic!

ps.i can covert the above message into whatever language you like via bablefish

Not required mate. We have the I trader system, just put the negative feedback on that to the effect: I paid, never received goods nor any form of explanation. That s hould do it!

It's there to be used!

We can also put accounts under investigation if we are made aware of people who have behaved poorly in respect of transactions on here.

Most of these scammers would dissappear overnight if people a) start using Itrader and b) dont buy from non paying SN newbie members with no feedback, or if you do, take appropriate precautions i.e. arrange to pick things up in person etc..

Rip off of 80's crime advert follows

"Scammers, together we can crack em!"

Whilst we are on the subject Basky bought something off me via SN and he made a mistake when leaving positive feedback and pressed the wrong button. I know have a lovely -1 feedback which feels like a dubious black cloud hanging over me...
As you know I am as honest as the day (or my dick) is long
Please amend accordingly

all i was saying is he is not the first and probably not the last to have been conned i myself bought a gearbox of good old fleabay which was worse than the one that was on my car i lost out £200 over that and ended up with no car at least now we know not to buy anything of razi islam or if its doing your head in get a posse of friends and go pay him a visit its the only way your going to have any chance of getting your money back as he hasnt even replied to any of this do you think he will i doubt it.

I agree with that ban him. And his IP Address, Email, User name

And then he wont be able to look at S/N unless he gets another Ip Address!

I agree with most of the things you guys have said. Yes is does look like i wont see the money again. ive got his address and mobile number. It will cost me £50 to get his house in east london if not more. So thats why i havent chased it up that way.

I agree with the scammer list, sounds good

Has he been visiting this site? how can i tell?
