Both used road tyres on their daily drivers.

P.S. One off, pay on the day is £75 !
So there is no £95 joining feefor going to a few events?

I only can make a few dates, so didnt want to spend anything more than I needed to.

Gussy i was thinking more so i can see how well you all drive and how wide/tight the circuits are roughly.

Andy 97, iirc the 97 quid one off fee is only if you want to score championship points.

As i only intent on entering 1/2 ill just do one off payments of 75 quid, but as such i wont score championship points. Thats the way i understand it anyway.

Hi CM home from work....

Yep, Bez said it was awesome, no roll, no pitch, just go.... and Terry.K. did a donut for fun too !

The other WYIOC to get a ride was Sticky Stuff for all his hard work doing the championship "branding" on the competing cars...

I wanted to do this one, but a spinal issue last Tuesday left me hanging on a barrier sniffing tyre smoke !

No - LOL

dunx

P.S. Elvington is very abrasive, on the last corner you can see rubber shredding off the tyres....

Here are a couple taken from a camera mounted at eye level on my crash helmet.

Car is the Standard class winning and 6th overall MY05 JDM STI

This is my sighting lap, 1:00.015 YouTube - scoobysprint round 1 sighting lap at Elvington April 2009

This is my first timed run, 0:59.156 YouTube - scoobysprint round 1 first timed lap at Elvington April 2009

On my other runs the recorder couldn't handle the G's , best time was 0:58.157 with two other runs in the 58's.

Si Horton had a camera mounted to the bodywork just behind the n/s/f wheel - you can see the rubber stripping off as he went round
