Right glad were all friends again .
I can only apologise Deep for the way the topic degenerated the way it did .!!!!!:
Getting back to your project ,I would look at having a total contrast in the master suite ,to how you have done the rest of your house .
It could really set the place off and be total wow factor to any future purchasers .
Wet room ,marble,modern lighting,etc ,etc .
Black gloss units, look cool.Matching bed, mirror .Oooh suits you Sir !!!!!!

Thanks guys.
It will be difficult to make it completely different to other parts of the house as some bits are ultra modern and some quite traditional/classic. The real difficulty I find is getting the difference between wow and over the top. What may look cool in a £5million penthouse may look naff in my family home.
Anyway, I'm scanning the mags and have more or less discounted using an interior designer. I'll also try and get to the Grand Designs expo at Excel next week.
Btw, Davyboy, which hospital are having the op at? I maybe able to call in a favour(risk of unexpected death from anaesthetic 1 in 500000)

Glad I can be of service. But really it's my employers....however, even if I didn't get it as a taxable benefit it might well be worth having anyway.

I don't care. Just surfed barrelling perfection and doing the same before work tomorrow
Hmmm - dirty NHS did a fantastic job when we had our little boy, when we sadly lost the previous one and have always been superb in my experience.
I'd go private if there was a long waiting list though.
Deep - I have a feeling you'd love the places my Dad's done, even if not appropriate. The Old Customs House in Salcombe (a few of you might know it) , the Georgian House in St Georges Hill, Weybridge (one the few non naff places) and many others - all period, all no expenses spared (from the owners), all with massive wow factor. None of this shiny naff wood and metal sh1te that so many seem to have embraced.
