Cool

I spoke to Steve at Leigh Tyres today as I was collecting my old wheels in the Forry and he's said that as a special for the ESC & MX5Nutz he will supply these Pro-Race 16" lightweight rims with Toyo Proxy rubber in 195/45/16 for a bargain price of £480 including fitting, balance and VAT
To me that's not a deal it's a steal
If you want to talk with Steve direct you can call him on 01702 474711

Right as promised here's the piccies of the new boots.
Apologies to all those David Baileys out there as I'm not the greatest with a camera

Whilst you are at it, why not enhance the look further by using a tyre lettering pen to give that true 'race car' look

Trimbrite Store - Trimbrite Lettermate White Tire Pen

Go on you know you want to

There's enough extra weight as it is
A fold-up shovel could be a bonus though
Or maybe a sheep rack or some knitting needle holders, now there's a thought

You need to go faster then!

More grip always leads to the breakaway being more 'entertaining', hope your reactions are up to it old boy

Have just done a quicker search on both, massive performance gain, indeed one claimed a 0-60 time in 6.5 sec, hell that's nearly a quick as my comfy armchair.

You sure, he is getting on a bit, almost as old as me or possibly even older?

The clue for was Turbo
Now a car with 200-250bhp weighing less than a bag of sugar even with my lardy bum in it is sure going to move quicker than your pipe n slippers

Maybe it's because I look so much younger than you my body still believes its only 29 and reacts accordingly in all departments

Both are forced induction, and both are readily available for the MX5.

The armchair makes reasonably swift progress, in a nice grown up sort of way, wouldn't want the pipe to fall off the dashboard now would we.

Did you buy the mirrors out of the crocked house, as you sure must be looking in a kind mirror

The only problem I see with a SC Neil is the aggro if you want to upgrade. With a Turbo you just bolt on the new re-map and presto.

I bet the armchair is stll more fun to drive than that Ford as well?

I bought my mirrors from the same place as you Fella...... Spec Savers

After reading the destructions, and working out how to fully switch off the DSC, yes the Armchair can be entertaining to drive, indeed slip angles similar to a 3.0 Capri can be acheived.
But that would be childish and immature, and would surely make the pipe fall off it's stand.
