Cool

Well its been a while so thought it's about time I bought this thread up to date

After such a protracted and convoluted move into the new house the car has taken a back seat. Now that work has eased off a tad and I have a few shillings to spare it's time to get the project moving again. I'm hoping to have the car putting out around 200-220bhp with handling and performance to match. Then the car is going to be restyled and painted black mica.

Big thanks to Mark @ Gaz Shocks for sorting my new set up at such a great price:

This week has been like a delayed Birthday with new goodies arriving daily
So with that in mind my bank balance has taken a hit this week with the purchase of;

Gaz Shock Mazda Racing Set Up
Stage 2 Clutch arrived this morning
Walbro fuel pump
Megasquirt EM
Side Light Ultra Bright LEDS

Hopefully by the end of the weekend we should have added a few more goodies to the list

Bet those LED's will make it go faster!

Thought the GAZ kit had gone on ages ago?

I'l have you know I was assured of at least 6bhp from those LEDS

Mark was supposed to sort the shocks months ago but due to both of us being too busy with work and house moves it's only just got sorted lol. Better late than never though and I have absolutely no complaints.

Before the turbo is fitted I want to uprate the discs and pads and put on braided lines so will probably wait till I've got all of those parts and have them and the coilovers fitted in one go.

Are you doing anything to the armchair?
Or is it to be left unmolested?

It's still very comfy thanks. Just had some lovely new discs and front suspension bushes - std of course.
If only it was unmolested, some silly girly drove into the back of it last week.

My necks fine thanks, Andrea was driving - well actually stopped at a red light!!!!!

The advantage of being such a lardy car is that it must be pretty strong, damage is only superficial, should be fixed by Fairfields in the next week or 2.

Just found out he's got a front under brace to fit as well. Should tighten things up nicely. He's also looking at supercharging or turboing at some point

I bought an Mazda Racing under brace bar on Sunday along with a 4yr old TD04
I've also bought my replacement bootlid complete with spoiler lol.
Thanks to someone else on here I bought a set of those plasma gauges too.
Just need to source a few more bits and I can have the Turbo fitted and mapped. Then we should have a proper STi worrier with go-kart handling too

The good thing about these is that the software is Open Source so it's not locked down to one company etc. and 1000s of peeps around the world can pitch in with addons made available from the forum.
