I had a smaller one which had a sharp edge to it. All you have to do is manipulate it round and round then press down hard. You will feel it burst and feel a bit light headed but the pain stops and it disappears.

I did try hitting it with a hammer first but jesus christ that did hurt like hell

I have one on the other side of my wrist compared to you but it's right in the middle, I got my fella to hit it with a book it felt like it broke my wrist it's still there though I've given up now.

I've got 3 of these one a little further towards the elbow than yours, one fairly big one on my forearm and one on my thigh.

After 6 weeks it should be starting to settle.........gently massage the area with something like E45 or Lanolin a couple of times a day

Moisturisers and moisturising bath additives or washes

You should have an appointment fairly soon for review..........do you have dark skin ? might be a bit of keloid ?

a more recent pic ??

I had quite a large ganglion (cyst) on my wrist and it was cured by the weight of God -- or more accurately my daughter taking great delight in hitting it with a bible.

I understand that if I do something wrong then the wrath of God will make it return (or more accurately, if you have had it once there is quite a high probability it'll come back).
