One last thing to add, this has been on the radar for 12 months... not this exact strain but I suspect someone knew something was happening.... bodies of people who died in the 1918 outbreak were dug up less than 12 months ago. One of them was here in the UK as it happens.

Are you suggesting a body from 91 years ago was still infectious ?

No, but it seems odd to me that only 6 months ago certain major institutions kicked off a major H1N1 study including digging up the remains of past victims. They searched quite a while to find suitable bodies.. so I hear anyway.

Yes.

In Yorskshire back in the 1990's, someone with smallpox who was buried in the late 1800's and had their grave desecrated, was considered a major biohazard. Why? Because they had been buried in a lead casket, and decomp had been low and the virus or whatever which may have been dormant could awake.

Luckily the precautions were taken and nothing happened!

First person to person infection in the UK and some guy commenting told the nation to continue their lives normally, wash your hands and use a tissue when sneazing.

"But we must continue our lives as normal or the economy will collapse".

Where the **** has he been for most of 2009
