I just liked the little orange logo thing, Didnt know what it meant.... For my computers are a bit like engines. I have NO idea how to work them... Please see my project thread next week when I start the rebuild for proof about this.

Sadly, or, in my case, happily, the Orange and Blue club memberships have been removed and replaced with 2 versions of plus membership instead. far better IMO.
(And probably only my opinion no doubt Im about to be informed. ROLFOL)

Talking of splits, there were many polls conducted on his posting style, of those who expressed an interest in the polls, the split was always 80/20 in his favour.

With regards banned members signing up with a new name, its incredibly hard to police without blanket IP banning which I avoid unless I have to do so, preffering to inform their ISP of abuse instead which is a better way to deal with such issues because a blanket ban affects innocents.
The fact of course still remains that most people notice pretty quickly when people have an alter ego or rejoin when banned as its incredibly hard to disguise an internet persona, and its very common the new member folishly spends a lot of his posting time defending the banned character, which for me is always the biggest give away of all!

I know a few people have a problem with pete (UB being the most voracious because he posted up a pic of UB sandkiting or something) but really the character is pretty harmless.
I think the bans that came into force were done with a pretty heavy hand and so caught out some decent posters, albeit erring on the obtuse side whilst wiping out some complete tools. It was hit or miss as to whether you missed the cull.

I am always game for a laugh and run my forums in a manner that allows the humour to remain because without humour forums can be drab and lifeless places, however we still need to err on the side of caution. For example, we may have people on SN who are totally against pictures of nude lobsters, hence I had to keep my lobster genitalia covered up in said honeygoon shot.
