Your so right; the stigma attached with cars and garages means that anything going wrong on a car automatically makes many owners assume its the garage at fault (reality is $hit happens ). Especially in these circles of people paranoid about big ends (yet some still try squeezing extra power out the engine, thinking no ill effect will come of it ), I can totally understand that logic; still, you realise some owners will always try and find something else you've done to put the blame on.

.....Says the guy who ran his Impreza on Unipart filters, Castrol oil, Gates cambelts and Blueprint tensioners with no ill effect. And I don't treat my other cars any different - yup NSX with a Unipart oil filter (its just a tarted up Rover 827 engine anyway ).
