but you are completely naive if you think that pointless hostile threads wont kill a forum, i have seen it first hand.
check for yourself, search for posts that have new member introducing themselves and showing there scoobies they are lucky if they get more than a few responses.
how many new members will stick around after they see their 'im new here' or 'can i get some advise' threads being ignored by many senior members who are to bust arguing over BS

I think you have the wrong end of the stick.
A damn good argument we all love but as you say when it breaks down to hostilities it's gone too far. Intelligent, witty, sarcastic banter is above some people and frustration boils over.
As for the Newbies your bang on. There's nothing worst than coming onto a new site and getting **** on straight away, If you don't deserve it or post Mr. Block.....
To be honest I have been infracted for doing just that. Lesson learnt, even though no-one else at the time got their legs smacked. Not that I'm embittered (Honest). lol.

theres a massive diffrence between a newbie/chav who only puts out a few posts and asks very novice question and never bothers coming back on a site and an enthusiast, by the looks of it kay seems to be a proper car enthusiast. he has had unfortunate experience we all make mistakes we live and learn and move on.

my ultimate point is this.. the topic of KareenaBaby's 'bad' map was done to death in the past thread so i fail to see what purpose people bad mouthing each other in futher threads has to offer this forum.
anyway i am bored of the whole bad map subject, lets talk about good ones...mines great

To shut all the people up who think I am responsible for messing up the settings well i am not. I took liability only because I didn't want it to be a fall back on the mapperz business as the mapper was upset abt the previous thread. Therefore i decided to blame myself. The car detted detted and detted. There is more to it, I have a written report from my garage saying how the incorrect fitment of the walbro fuel pump could have led to a fatality!! I can go ahead and name more memberz on scoobynet whos engines have blown up after being mapped by Neil. I'm sure those memberz are reading this thread right now. So I dnt see y da *** people lyk chocolate o twatz are defending, bumming the mapper when they dont knw, dat this whole senario is bigger than his ***.

Calm down and put your case forward calmly and in a literal manner and let the forum pick the bones out of it.

Seems a few members actually have seen the problem on the above thread and still laid into the OP for no reason.

Read the thread, the issue wasn't solved but his CEL light was switched off, he got it sorted from JGM and wanted to thank him.
Why comment on threads like these when you have nothing of any substance to input?
Oh actually I forget, we no have Internet soldiers in our midst to monitor all of our posts and threads to ensure they adhere to their extremely stringent regulations!

Im sure no one will here will bregrudge Kareena a reliable and healthy engine, which seems to be all he wanted right from the start.
Now Im not one to take sides but is that not what we all want for our cars? I know if it was my hard earned I would kick up a fuss till it was sorted.
