My prodrive gt1's are going that way, pretty bad on the front offside. May get them powder coated as the car is off until I can get tyres, toying with replacing the wheels completely

Take care if the seat is all the way to the front or rear of the adjustment, thats where my seat stuck.
There is a little pad on the end of the lever on each runner that pushes the retainer pin down to release to slide / adjust ... the bushes seem so loose the pads miss the pin and hence no adjustment.

Bloody hell thats a shed load of water, If I was you mate I'd be in contact with subaru customer services and submit your issues with them and state the dealership that initially repaired the car doesnt want anything to do with it.
Even I know thats not right & i aint no body work expert

Its not the repair centre that didn't want anything to do with it, their simply nothing to do with subaru anymore (not even a service centre), the dealership that said it was now my problem, was the dealership I bought the car from.

I might have fixed my car! Yesterday, I took the spoiler off noticed that the grommet that surrounds the pipework and wires for the rear screen, was not seated at all when I took the spoiler off (not a lot of force needed suprisingly).
So I vasalined up every grommet and piece of rubber at the top of the tailgate. Vas makes a nice non permanant liquid gasket It took quite a lot of force to get the grommet back in, even with the vas, so I think it hadn't been replaced properly when I had the new tailgate last year.
This grommet would force any water to go down the top of the rear screen and down the boot channels, if it leaks, then it allows water into the space frame, and it can run down the 2 rubber tubes each side of the boot. From there it can enter the car and run down the side of the quater lights and into the sill.
Last night it pee'd it down and this morning I quickly pulled out a couple of clips that hold the side skirt on and its bone dry
For what took me 30 mins to fix, Subaru have lost any future sale from me, as the only person to remove this from my car was the garage that did the warranty work.

Nice one Simon although and not to freak you out but I would be concerned with what damage has it cause having all that water sitting there. I know on the classic impress that when the arch bubbled on the outerside in view the inner arch was a lot worse. I would still try and get Subaru to do something.
Glad you got the worse but sorted though.

it looks fine, I've had the arch liner out, and shone torhes down there and its clean. Got a couple of jobs to do in there once the weathers dryed out. Theres a bit of road grime in there, but given I drive off road every weeknd down forest tracks I'm not overly concerned. But would love to know how it gets in there.
Seems my deffinition of sealed might not be subarus!

hmmmm not impressed, put the spare on as I am worried that driving the car to get tyres; it may blow out, however got a look at the brakes to see what the condition of the bolts are like, not good nor is any of the suspension components look as if they have been on the car 20 years, the cars only 4 year old with 30 k on the clock.
Tried to free one of the caliper bolts, needless to say it was very tight, now I am worried they may shear or strip threads, friend of mine had nothing but bother changing his Brembos.
And on a final note the tyre has wear on both the inside and outside edges, is this due to under inflation rather than an alignment issue as the handling still seem to be spot on.
Pimping now

Check on both to see if when postage added which is then cheapest......

Sorry for a possible dumb question but you have a pic of this and how do you know if the one you already have lights up as I have a 330s and it appears just to be pink plastic. How do you get it to light up?

Has an LED behind the badge that if the "shift lever cover" has be removed/refitted the connector can come off quite easily
Items 20,23,24........ comes on with the dial/gauge illumination.

question:
coolant compensator tank.... does the level fluctuate dependent on the heat of the engine?
topped coolant back up to the FULL line last night from it being half way between LOW & FULL
back from NBO (160mile drive) and the level has gone down when I checked (engine was still hot though back from the drive)
