You would be far better getting a decent set of after market bucket seats for the price you would pay for new or second hand subaru recaros. Plus they would be a lot lighter.......... unless you want to buy mine

Not quite that straightforward.............

http://opposedforces.com/parts/impre...or/front_seat/

Recaro Std type would be for passenger
Recaro Lifter type would be driver

UK destination code : EK

Don't see a "complete" seat listed although probably available - Rob??

I can tell you the part number, But I'll also tell you that you'll never get them through the parts network. the only way you'll get them is out of another car

I've got a set on order and they've been that way for over 6 months now

My only other options are a set of recaro sportster cs seats which are close to original as you could get or a set of Bride Kevlar Carbon backed seats

Rob, do you know of any common issues with the standard STI seats? My drivers one seems to rock backwards and forwards from time to time. I can't figure out if it's the backrest or the base? Going to try and investigate this week, any pointers?

I dont currently know of any issue with the standard seats to be honest. Infact I've never even had one appart yet. RHEID aka Neil would be best equipt to tell you what you need to know as he's had one appart.

Rob's spot on, I've had them down to component parts a few times now.

Imy, first (and easiest) thing to check is that the seat rails are securely attached to the body of the car, 2 bolts at the front and 2 at the rear under the clip on trims. As you're experiencing intermitant movement, it could be that simple.

If it's not that, come back to me and I can talk you through the rest of it.

Cheers, Neil

I know the Recaro seat base on both front seats of the 330s had a recall at a certain build number for a squeak that was incredibly annoying & replaced under warranty.
Think the dealer mention £900+ per base

Which side of the bottle should I believe?*

On all 6 bottles the front reads 10w-40. On 4 of them the rear label reads 10w-60. Didn't notice until after the oil change. I've emailed Opie Oils so hopefully they can confirm which oil was sent? Otherwise I need to do another oil change as I'm led to believe 10w-60 is too thick?

I have to say again the paint is rubbish and too easily chipped, whole car needs resprayed.

On another note, is it worthwhile getting the springs changed since the dampers have 30k on them

Well it's had a good innings, the AFR Sensor packed in full stop today, Kinda knew it had being playing up just recently, Crap fuel consumption and pulling timing back on cruise. Unplugged it today and monitored it and the readings never changed so plugged it back in and still no reading, Looks like I'll have to dig deep and fork out the £300 for it

Is that what we mortals would call the Lambda sensor Rob?

Does it still live in the downpipe / up-pipe?

Or am I totally off the ball here!
