it's funny, years ago when ppl had ALCONS fitted at the dealer it was the 'poor relation option' than going BREMBO. Next step up would have been AP.
I bought a set of 4pot Subaru Brakes off a P1 (SimonBurton's car) that was new.. he went ALCON, they didn't last long before he realised he should have spent the extra for AP, so that was his next purchase.

Thanks for the answer Rob.
The problem is that Subaru in Sweden is very expensive. They want £500 for a set of four...
Is there any kind of after market wind deflectors for around £100-£200 with descent quality?

Brakes are a funny thing!
When I ha smaller cars, Brembo were always the choice upgrade. Now I have tem standard they seem pathetic, even with a decent pad they probably coudn't cope for very long. I like the Alcon setup, seen others such as K-sport, D2 all 'good' names, not seen any AP Racing specific kits yet in my hunt.

Looking at your garage pictures you have a MY10 Hatch which is not applicable.
Shame as I was looking for an exhaust upgrade that wouldn’t affect my warranty......looks like I will have to wait for that to expire before I add more mods

Thanks Don. They are a gift to fit. Fitted all 4 in about 20mins. The only downside I would say is they are very close to the window but for £30 I am not going to complain.

Ap do make a set for the hatch! They just never have any rears made for some reason so was 8 week wait last time I enquired. I find the brembos to be pretty much poo on my hatch so am looking for upgrade myself but I was advised the Alcon in general is a much better quality kit than the ap's? Having said that I have ap on my type r and they are awesome really really much better than brembos so I'm a little torn at the mo AP or Alcon? That's the question !!

They apparently spring into the window glass channel, but looking on Google there are many cases of fitting "difficulties".

I found one on youtube where the guy couldn't close the window... because he didn't fit the holding clips. lol
