I tried him and he said they won't fit. Is there much difference between the sti and wrx body's. Was thinking of getting a front lip as well

I think you will find there are too many panel differences between the G12 (Hatch WRX/WRXS) body and the wide track G22 (Hatch STi) body

Its fun, but get sick of ordering parts from ModelSport every Time I break something. I carbon Wrapped a whole body the other week... very badly I might add lol
I think doing a whole body in one sheet was asking a bit much lol.

It's not making huge power at 320bhp as its till running std cat,air box & so on. My concern is the way it feels at speed. I don't like it,VAGUE is the word & scary is another. I've made a few mods to try & improve the feel Tein springs have helped. The rack has been poly bushed & now I'm playing about with tyre pressures. Any help would be fantastic.
LOL! what car have you come from? i had a cliosport 200 with cup suspension... then to the hatch... never felt such a change in handling! the barge like feel of the subaru was so suprising! 32k when new, pedigree sports car and it cant go round the corner without banking like a battleship! :P i've got used to it now though :P

I've got a question about my down pipe. I've got a cobrasport sports catted downpipe and a prodrive cat back exhaust. If I'm right the down pipe replaces both cats on the car with just a singe built in sports cat. Technically doesn't that now mean that the car won't pass an mot as one of the cats is missing- even if emissions are fine?

Depends on how picky your tester is, Law states the vehicle has to have all the cats it came from the factory with in place, so that means 2 of them

Yeah was thinking that. Changing a down pipe back to stock and buying a new cat will be a bugger!

Lol I did that on the Mazda 3 mps I had previously but a day or two before it was booked in the place lost its licence for just that which at the time left me without any friendly tester! I'm sure most places might just pass over it or not even notice hopefully

Anyone/Don, do you have a guide on how to remove the silver trim that runs along the bottom of the rear door glass, for a saloon but guess hatch is the same.

Cheers

Included in this section, don't know how much you actually need to remove as I painted mine on the car..........

Cheers Don, removing rear glass could be a complication I was not expecting, just have a new silver strip to put on as the current is a little deformed and the dealer I got the car from is posting me a new one up, will have a look and see if it looks like i can give it a go with glass in place.

Cheers

just got a prodrive exhaust, the back box is fully stainless but the centre pipe section is corroded slightly so there for not fully stainless? was the prodrive exhaust on the 330s not a full stainless system? and with the above about CATs, am i right in thinking the down pipe is catted but also the up pipe so for a true decat i need to remove both cats with decat pipes?

thanks

The prodrive system was only ever a backbox and a 2nd decat pipe, the corroded center is the factory original steel section with a tubular resonator attached.

The up-pipe never had a cat in the hatch
