been a a localish car show/meet tonight.... thought you might like to see a few pix...
how much is this worth>>?
a fellow photographer I see there each month said it's easy a Million.
could be a bit more than my friend Craig's car!!! (The Subaru) lol
some of my car..
I also tried some off camera flash shots, using a flash trigger and a very accommodating wife moving and holding the flash gun! lol
Got talking with a guy(Neil) who lives quite near me with a MY08 Hatch, he virtually followed me home and when he pulled up next to me at a set of traffic light I asked him if he'd come back with 29.7mpg on his digital display... he said NO..16.4mpg!!
There and back for me was 69.6 miles, so 29.7mpg I'm well happy with
Roll on next month when it might be a bit warmer

Just finished fitting my new Hel brake lines. The youtube how to looked so easy but it wasn't. The nuts holding the old hoses onto the hard brake pipes were so hard to undo. I used the proper flare wrench on the first one and ended up sheering most of the corners off the nut, despite it being the correct size. I ended up using mole grips wrapped in an old t-shirt clamped onto the nut. That worked perfectly so I used the same method on all the rest. Had one issue - the very first hose I installed was weeping under braking pressure. Took it off the car twice and eventually third time round the weeping stopped.
Just have bleeding to do tomorrow. Do I trust my own workmanship lol

Another option that may work for you is to fit some wheel spacers that convert the 100 pcd to 114, it will allow you to fit any STI wheels and the bonus is it will push them out a bit to fill the arches. Standard ET is 53/55 so a 20mm spacer will take that to 33/55 so give a similar set up to the speedlines I had on my hatch at et35, just check that it is ok though on the narrow body non STI and it does not push them out too far.
Here are some from CDF.

They do various thicknesses so you should find one that works for you.

I would've had these off of him if I didn't need the car serviced this month and also have a mapping session with AndyF also, good luck with his sale though!

Quick pic of one of the rear lines. Forgot to photo the front and you can't see them when the wheels are on!
Flushed the old fluid and refilled with mintex fluid. Gonna be taking braking very easy for a few miles just to make sure I've not ballsed up on anything but I triple checked all 4 corners

I Have fitted my £12 microphone mod and now have bluetooth!
Think I need to work out how to update the Kenwoods firmware to add the address book from my iPhone to the unit., as when I select to copy, it just disconnects the phone :|

I was offered a GFB Hybrid Dump Valve for a very good price. But I'm note sure if it will fit on my Impreza STI 2008? I will not have a re-map on the ECU.
What do you guys think?
Thanks.
