They are Prodrive ones , which were apparently only an option in Japan, Keith @Revolution got them for me. Took about 20mins to fit & the rears fitted no problem.

Cool. It says the rears may need some drilling required but glad to know they fit fine.
They may need some modifications to fit a Forester I guess.

mine sometimes plays up if my house alarm batteries are gettting low, it's like an anti jamming device for the car. I'd spent pounds on mew batteries and it still did the same. lol
you can turn the alarm off by the keypad though and put your key fog as near as you can to the dash/start button.

Those batteries are supposed to be changed each year.

As for interference, I thought that problem with the sigma alarms was a thing of the past.

Aye just a bit lol I'm taking it the yanks don't pay anywhere near as much as us for their parts, because I cannot believe how many American students cars are running a whole host of perrin parts! I mean what do we pay for a perrin front mount? It's about £1500 is it not? Even if I had that to spend I think I would have a hard time spending that when I knew I could pick up an HDI front mount for less than half that !!!

Yup. They don't need to pay to ship it to uk. Uk customs and handling charges and moneys to a company to bring it in for you ( unless you buy it yourself)
I really wanted all my stuff in Perrin. Was chatting to the guy from Perrin and got a good deal on it but still way more than just buying decent stuff from over here !

And Dollar to Pound exchange rate.

The Perrin FMIC is good, nice in stealth black, but priced as you note!

There was an issue with parking at certain petrol stations that had mobile phone masts at / near them ... it jammed the alarm signal.

Push the car some yards down the road and all is well!

Dunno if that's your problem tho!

As Salsa says there is some sort of interference effecting the frequency used for the keyless operation (not the alarm circuit frequency) which operates on a frequency similar to that used for EPOS systems.

As some have found it can be effected by nearby wireless household alarm circuitry. I also believe mine was effected by BT testing their fibre cables outside my house.
Usual way around it is to use the key to get in, the alarm keypad PIN to turn off the alarm if on and then place (as listed in the owners handbook) the key fob next to the dash directly above the start button and try to start. If the key symbol stays lit then I think your only course of action is to move the car until out of the interference area.

Have you asked on midlands Scoobies or UK Scoobies

Its not a car I!be seen about.

Is it diffinetly a 330s? Recaro seats, keyless entry and start button and DVD sat nav?

Find out what they are doing to the car.

Have you a link to it?

Hi mate

Yep definitely a 330 with the recaros/nav/keyless etc
It's at pentagon and the previous owner chopped it in for an Astra gtc thingy,I have not purchased it as yet, waiting to find out what work is needed on the engine and what there plans are for the repairs etc

It's classed as sold because I have put a "refundable holding deposit" on the car before inspection, the car itself is in very good order just the engine issue lol,I will put up a picture if I can figure out how on the iPad

Regards marcus

Don't go lower than 25mm or so or you will ruin the roll centre.

the ProR (blue springs) don't fit unless you have the spec-c suspension.

it's a lot of car for the money it's on at, just make sure you find out what they'll do to it and get a compression test done in case there's any other engine issue, I take it they'll give 12months warranty on it too?

Have you popped to Europa Subaru in Sheffield to see what they can offer you, I go there for my servicing... very nice ppl to deal with.
