No apologies needed, in fact the front springs are the same for all four setups

Do any JDM hatch owners have a Toad AI606 alarm installed? I have a few questions - mine was never wired up correctly(I think) so now it is currently setup to use both factory key and toad immobiliser.

Its called Garron Tower but actually a school (st killians college) the road up to it "Tower Road" is part of the N.Ireland Hillclimb Series so its a great road with never a lot of traffic on it as long as the schools are off

Nice pics indeed Gambit.
What brand is the lower grill that is fitted on the front bumper and does the quality match the OEM one that is fitted between the headlights?

Has anyone used this?
http://zada-tech.com/products/multi-...-din-headunits
Do the hatchbacks use OBDII CAN bus ? The product says works with older protocols, too.
It seems like a great idea to combine reading data from the OBD as well as external fitted sensors e.g. oil temp and pressure.

Yes, they all have low and high speed CAN bus for Body and Driving systems.

LOW SPEED

HIGH SPEED

Thanks Don!
My only concern regarding the digital gauges that use either the HDMI or the AV port on the headunit is whether I will be able to listen to music while displaying the gauges.
If not I'll go for the LCD option.

Quick question, does anyone know if a CS400 sports cat downpipe will mate directly to a H&S 2.5 mid pipe?

Definitely not. The cosworth is 3 diamete And it's totally custom for cs400 turbo location which has a slight rotation in it, basically to stop it fouling on dbw throttle body.

There is also a custom flexi pipe about 8-12inch long that goes between downpipe and mid pipe as I found out.

I've a milltek downpipe mated to cosworth half system with custom flexi made to link both

Thanks for confirming seems like the options for a sports cat are pretty limited. I am assuming the H&S one should fit but not sure about Cobra or Invidia??

Safest bet is just go with h&s as you'll know itll fit. For others it's a risk whether it fits to h&s which isn't a big deal if you have someone handy with a welder..but costs you a bit more in making it fit

If the CS400 downpipe has standard fitment and mates to a standard system then you'll be fine. All the H&S systems mate up to standard parts, pretty much the same for Cobra too in my experience with both manufacturers. I've heard stories of Miltec systems using different flanges or locations though so they don't mate up with standard parts, but would need to confirm that.

It's not standard fitment though

Really good thanks Hedge, Martyns map is awesome the power delivery is really strong and sustained. She made 352 on the rollers, I will try to remember to put the chart up later when I get home.

Hi guys, a little help please

Any of you had the traction control, centre diff, and hill start assist light flashing.

Various Googling suggests possible brake light switch or low voltage on the battery

any help greatly appreciated

This would seem to point to a problem with the VDC control module. There is a brake light switch recall at the moment which may be significant. (Although I understand it is only for MY11 onwards)

Probably no DTC (Diagnostic Trouble codes) showing unless you are using an expensive code reader or Subaru Select Monitor.

Below is the menu listings for the VDC Diagnostics section of the workshop manual
VDC Diagnostics Menu pdf

Would think this is a visit to a Subaru dealer for diagnostics.

After about 10 years without a Scoobie I'm finally back in one with this 09 WRXS. Wasn't sure about the hatches, but now I have one I'm loving it.
