412bhp after map tweak

He must have a WRC engine under the bonnet
Where the specs cos those figures are pretty impressive for a 2ltr, 2.5 yes but a 2ltr is there a way of getting that much more torque than bhp out of a 2ltr , if so i want some of that.

Hmmm, the girlfriends nephew (4 years old) reckons my RA's running 1000bhp, that's with no familiarity with my current mods. I'll go with that then. He also tells all his playground chums that I have the fastest car in the whole world.

These are some of the best figures I have seen from a 2 litre car, and even this does not make 500 lb/ft of torque running 15% methanol.

Also having trouble believing those figures from a bolt on turbo and 2 litre combo.
My own 2.1 doesn't produce that much torque, but to be fair it hasn't seen 2 bar plus yet. These figures were at 1.8 bar peak and 1.6 top end.

Ok, in no way would I ever suggest, or imply that it's safe to run these type of numbers on a standard engine, but Stealthy was determined to see what he could get from his set up.
Brief spec':
STi '05, standard 2.0lt engine, An MD321V, 3 bolt manifold, APS front mount, bigger injectors, & fuel pump, Motec mapped by Dave Row.
472ftlbs achieved at 5250rpm & 2bar, 515.7bhp at about 6000rpm & 1.8bar, dropping to 1.7bar.
I'm not certain who has the bigger cahonez, Stealthy for running it, or Dave Row for mapping it

Any news on the results for the 2.1 non AVCS car you were going to test one on ?

Maybe you need to use an MD321V Martyn

No, VPower only for the dyno runs Duncan.
No thanks m8 , will stick with what I have. I suspect that at the same boost and with the same 20% E85, the S206 would walk all over the V, but we can only speculate at the moment.
Would love to see the graph, lets see how much it has at 3500-4500rpm.
P.S. Sold 23 of the EVO version of the TT turbo so far, and those that have wanted to try, have all made the 500bhp expected from it.
Have also fitted 3 Subaru versions, my own, a customer 2.1, and a customer 2.5 which should be finished tomorrow.

Martyn,
It's a little pointless comparing the results of a 2.0lt, against that of a 2.1lt with regard to spool up.
By all means post a graph of a 500bhp + 2.0lt set up, and I'll ask Stealthy to post his so they can be compared.
In the mean time, a closer comparison to your 2.1lt, would be Johns (Morbs) 2.1lt/Lateral internals, running a hybrid version of the MD321T.
Whilst rolling road figures make for interesting reading, to put Johns car/figures into perspective, it ran 10.5's with the 511bhp. We'll wait and see what he can do with the latest 570bhp set up !
Mark.

how much boost? i suspect 2 bar boost atleast and is he using meth?

Simon just had a look on Morbs thread and it is 2 bar tailing to 1.7 bar, v power + 10% methanol. Just to aad these figures are excellent for a 2 litre engine and I am very tempted to ditch the idea of going rotated and sticking a V on my next engine!

In my experience that would almost exactly offset the longer stroke so as to make them pretty much the same.

From memory it wasn't in the stock location due to compressor cover size, didn't have a standard 3 bolt uppipe or Subaru downpipe etc etc. Was this called the T+++, .
Nice results none the less, and I will endeavour to try and get mine in to the 10's by the end of the year.
So far an 11.86 @ 123mph is the best we have managed, but we did only get one run due to the single plate paddle clutch giving out under the strain of all that torque, lol. This was in a full weight car, full interior including the spare wheel, half a tank of gas, stock road tyres and pressures, oh and only 1.6 bar boost.
