Martyn,

We did this turbo set up a number of years ago, before we started doing the MD321 bolt on series turbos, and it has been refreshed more recently with a "T" core.

It does use a different up, & down pipe to accommodate the Garrett housing, much like your turbo requiring a custom down pipe, because the exhaust housing set up has also repositioned the turbo !

So apart from the Lateral version being a Garrett GT series ball bearing core, the set ups are pretty similar ! Well, apart from the results

Mark.

Reading over on the MLR, a few users of the TT S205 are not happy with the boost control or the lack of it. Will this be addressed on the Subaru version?

I believe we all stand corrected, and well done for having the ***** to run such figures.

There is no problem on either version that we have specced, fitted and tested at our establishment. My own fitted with the SimTek has perfect control from .8 bar up to whatever I choose to run.

Should you wish to discuss the Evo version further, feel free to pm me and I will talk you through the whys and wherefores.

im one of the customers thats going for the S206 on my build should be ready 5 to 6 weeks time. il let you all know how i get on. the MD seems like a good turbo but to be honest the S206 seems to be great value for money and its not shy on performance at all.

question is the md321T+ a direct comparison to the S206? or would you compare the V to the S206?

Is this setup basically the same as terryb's with a GT30/35 (to4s)compressor cover?

By all means post a graph of a 500bhp + 2.0lt set up, and I'll ask Stealthy to post his so they can be compared.

In the mean time, a closer comparison to your 2.1lt, would be Johns (Morbs) 2.1lt/Lateral internals, running a hybrid version of the MD321T.

Whilst rolling road figures make for interesting reading, to put Johns car/figures into perspective, it ran 10.5's with the 511bhp. We'll wait and see what he can do with the latest 570bhp set up !

Mark.

Mark thats a more normal 2ltr bhp/lbs graph ??? But stealthy55 has much much more lbs than the BHP which seems unusual ??? When my gt30 was on my 2ltr I had 480bhp/420lbs and mine was running 1.6bar. I have only ever seen lbs overtake bhp on the 2.5ltr setup!

Quite a wide power band of 750rpm.

Keep up the good work Mark.

So it can be done done on a std STI motor...

Mine did this twice before Simon mapped it properly.

'Twas astonishing for the two 15 second runs I tried....

LOL

I agree with you Steve. I have been running an SC46 (Scoobyclinic) which on a std 2 ltr block (std internals) was giving me 422 bhp / 400 lbs at 1.7 bar! Stealthy55's seems very unusual! I'm not sure if I had the bottle to push mine anymore on std internals!

They have stated but it must have been missed by Steve and JP, that the 412bhp is an at the wheels figure.

The S206 Mus, is a 500+bhp turbo. We just haven't ran a Subaru version hard enough yet to prove it, I will get this weekend out of the way as we are as busy as ever, and then get it back on the dyno.

Well.... I achieved 432ftlb @ 1.5bar at the HUBS on my engine spec. If someone beat that using a bolt on turbo with VPower I would run round ScoobyNet with my **** hanging out!

So come on Martyn.... get your graph up!!!

Think the graph is being printed on government issue paper, would explain the delay
