Still waiting for the graphs !
But for those that have missed it, the TT S206 turbo has now surpassed the 500bhp mark and ran an 11.1 1/4 mile in a full weight car.

In all seriousness Simon, I am of course really interested in the shape of the curve, the area below it and what boost it made where.

Martyn,
Post the graph with the boost profile for the 505bhp, and the 500ftlbs @ 1.5bar run, and I'll ask the owner if he'll post his up !
To be honest, the comparisons will still be of little value, different cars, mappers, dynos..................agendas !!!

It isn't for comparison Mark, WE just want to see it !
I'll quite happily post the boost profile for mine though if it'll help.

We know that the S206 will run 2.2 bar quite happily in the middle and will try some more boost when I finally get time to install the new fuel system.

Who do you think you're kidding
![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Well "WE" will just have to wait until the owner is prepared to post the graph up.
500ftlbs @ 1.5bar ?????![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
Also, 85 runs to get to 505bhp.................... what the heck you going to do when you have to map a big power car

How about both you guys lend me your flagship turbos and use my car as a donor and carry out a proper back to back fair comparison so that everyone can see the results, an MD321V from Lateral and a S206 from Enginetuner, I've got the perfect setup for both turbos

I change when it feels right Shaun, I don't pay much attention to the rev counter. Rev limit is set to 8000rpm, but I rarely rev that high. I am going to try a cutback turbine wheel on mine, as for purely drag use it peaks too early, but that does make it nice on the road.

Just the same as we know we will never actually see the graph for the car that started this thread. Not that for 1 minute I doubt you achieved the figures stated, but if you don't want to share it with the rest of us, why bother making a thread in the first place

I'm duty bound to point out to Mark that the DD dyno stores all the data logged, from every car, including all tuning done on Martyn's car, from even before we bought it. The number reflects the total of runs, not all on the one day!
I appreciate it's hard to understand these things when you don't own a dyno.
No need for cheap shots Mark, even if you have an "agenda" of your own.![Nono](images/smilies/nono.gif)
Apart from that, I'm staying out of this ***** contest.

I have mapped a V myself on our dyno and got very close to 500hp and over 520lbft, so I have no doubt it can make those figures, as I have stated again and again, I want to see the shape of the curve. How much it has at 3000rpm, 3500rpm and so on. It was after all mapped on the same type of dyno.

Unfortunately a forum is also for people to stroke their own *****..... I know, as I have been doing it for 9yrs. That has now finally stopped since I actually realised there is a real use for my mrs. I can not blame those who do not know how that experience will ever feel though.
