I do hope he recovers fully. Funny how you can get so damn attached to a pet!
We dont let our cat out. We tend to have older cats from the RSPCA. Ones that like to stay in.

Well he was going to come home today but after a visit it was decided to leave him in until tomorrow. Zoe saw him and he recognised her which is a good sign
His eyesight seems to be okay and although he was still groggy from the operation, he is looking pretty good for being bashed. So the little soldier will be home soon and then we will start looking after him as best we can
And for all of his online fans, here he is taking it easy in his cage

The ****ing ******* who hit him didnt even slow down and was, according to the girls who saw him hit our cat, speeding like the ****ing **** that he is
If I could get just a few minutes alone with the ****er, then it would make up for all the hurt that **** has put us through tonight.

************* Charlie update ************
HE IS HOME AT LAST
I was not at home as I had to be at work, but the call came today that it was okay to pick him up and well you can guess that it didnt take long. He is a lot more alert today as yesterday he was still on morphine and now safe at home, he is prowling around finding out what we have done in his absence
No outside for him for quite a while so he is now sitting at the back door looking out the glass doors at the garden and all the birds who seem to be teasing him.
I will put up a picture of him when I get home tonight.

Well I promised and a sneaky picture was taken of him today. I think you will agree that he looks quite content asleep in his favourite seat
(only the best for him )
Zoe and I would like to say a big big Thank you for all your fabulous messages of concern, best wishes and get well soon thoughts. We thought it was touch and go for a while, but as my little one said last night.
"is he down to his eight lives now dad ? "
I think he used all of them in one go with that stunt !!

Brilliant to hear he's home & in his favourite place - a cat with class!
A few more happy kitties for you today - as I was a little premature yesterday (I take after my husband there!!)
May Charlie have a long, healthy & happy life with you all x

Tremendous news to see him back Swiss, he will be over the moon, just like you of course, to be back home and in his own surroundings. The picture of him in the cage at the vets was a bit "soul searing" but the one of him in the STi seat is a great one and made Mrs Leslie and me smile of course.
Good thinking to keep him inside for a bit, I am sure he will soon be back to normal. Fearles Freddie likes sitting at his perspex cat flap watching the garden to make sure no monsters pitch up before he dares to go out-the big wimp!

I am not a cat lover either, never have been but for some reason and I dont know why, this little chap has won me over and in the time that we have had him, he has provided so many laughs and smiles that it is impossible not to take to them. My wardrobe and various bits of furniture will argue otherwise but hey ho, it is like a veritable bloody farm in this place that another animal is nothing
Anyway came home to find that a certain someone has forgone the sti seat and taken up residence on my bloody chair
I will let him off this once as he looks too cute
