For anyone with an 'unsettled' baby I would wholly recommend taking them to see a Cranial Osteopath. Our boy cried seemingly constantly (unless he was a) feeding, or b) sleeping) ... at the end of our tether we decided to give it a go and after 3 sessions with the Osteopath he's the most chilled, content little boy you could imagine!! The transformation is amazing, I really can't overstate the difference it has made to both Harry and me and the missus!
Cranial Osteopathy is mostly recommended for babies born naturally but with an assisted delivery (e.g. ventouse or forceps) but I believe it can benefit all children, from any age. If we have more children (which is looking more likely given our boy's 'transformation') I'd take them straight away, regardless of how they were delivered ... best money i've ever spent.

My missus is a paediatric nurse and recommends a technique called swaddling. As long as baby is fed, burped, dry, and comfortable.
